With this tool, you cn uild customized reports using existing Spphire dt elements. Reports cn e generted with clculted fields, complex filters, nd customized formtting. You cn view, downlod, print, nd sve these reports in the sme mnner s the Spphire stndrd reports. 1.1 A Note Before Getting Strted With n Ad Hoc report, you re customizing the ctul fields tht re pulled from the dministrtive nd reporting dtses. Creting complex Ad Hoc reports requires knowledge of reltionl dtses, s well s knowledge of the specific Spphire dt structure nd nming conventions of the underlying dtse fields. For complex reports, plese contct your Morgn Stnley Pln Administrtor for ssistnce. Exmples of complex Ad Hoc reports re: Cross-t reports: Cross-t reports summrize dt in tle, much like pivot tle in Excel. The report hs rows nd columns, ut the intersections of the rows nd columns represent summry dt. Txes due nd pid reports Cncelltion reports Reports tht contin deferred stock unit (DSU) informtion 1.2 Access nd System Nvigtion You cn ccess the Ad Hoc Reporting tool through Spphire y selecting the Reports Menu nd Ad Hoc Reports. You will see nvigtion toolr t the top of the pge with ts reflecting the functions you cn select to crete customized reports or to edit existing templtes. NvIGAtion ToolBAr Proceed y either clicking on the t, or selecting the Next utton t the ottom of the pge. Click on your compny nme.

Select the type of report tht you wnt to crete, nd how you wnt sutotls nd grnd totls to e displyed. Customize the lyout nd printing formt for the report output. Crete nme for the report nd optionl heder nd footer text. Select the dt tht will e the sis for the report nd customize column lels. Clculted fields cn e set up here. Set filters to restrict the report output to specific vlues y using the dt set chosen on the Dt pge. Include or exclude specific dt sed on selections mde on the Dt nd Filter pges. Allows n dditionl lyer of dt filtering. Customize how the dt is grouped nd displyed on the report. Choose the columns to disply nd pply dditionl formtting nd sutotling criteri. This is lso where you cn define Cross-T report prmeters. Set the sort order of the report output. Run the report nd/or sve the templte for future use. 1.3 Creting New Report After choosing the compny, the Ad Hoc Reporting tool will open with the Templte pge ctive. It is not necessry to progress through ll ts. You cn go directly to the t tht you wish to modify, or go to the Sve & Run t to use n existing templte without mking ny modifictions. d hoc reportimg guide 1.3.1 Report T The first step when creting new report is to decide the Report Type. Ech Report Type vries in the informtion displyed nd how tht informtion is summrized. Choose the desired Report Type. In the center of the screen you will see smple of the report output. Plese note tht not ll reports llow sutotls. See Exhiit A for detils. If you re unsure which type to choose, select ech rdio utton to see smple displyed here. Here you cn customize settings for disply of su nd grnd totls. Some exmples follow: If you wnt to run n Options Outstnding report tht sorts the grnt informtion y Country, you cn run Listing Only report. If you wnt to run the sme Options Outstnding report, sorting the grnt dt y country nd including sutotl for ech country, you cn choose Grouping & Listing Report Type. If you wnt the Options Outstnding report to sort the dt y County nd provide totl options outstnding in ech country ut without showing individul grnt detils, you cn choose Summry Report Type. The Pge t is not required nd cn e ypssed, leving the defult settings in plce. However, if you find the report output will not fit on the pge, come ck to this t nd mke dditionl djustments. To customize the lyout, select from the following options: Vlue AvilABle SelectioNS Pge Size Letter (11 x 8.8), Legl (14 x 8.5), A4 (11.69 x 8.27), custom. Mrgins Defult is.5. Adjust left nd/or right mrgins y updting vlues in field. Pge Orienttion Font Size Alternte Shded Line Print Prmeters In Output Portrit: mximizes rows per pge (will use less pper). Lndscpe (Defult): Mximizes detils per pge. Defult is 8 point. Cn select ny vlue etween 7 12. Yes/No checkox. Set to Yes y defult. This is helpful for udit/review of the report output when there re lot of rows of dt. Not useful for reports intended to e fxed or copied s it will reduce the qulity of the fx/copy. d hoc reportimg guide 1.3.3 Heder T The Heder t llows you to customize the report title, heders nd/or footers. The Report Title is mndtory. Vlue Report Title (Required) Heder Note Heder Disply Pge Footer Lst Pge Footer Heder Style AvilABle SelectioNS Provide title to disply on the report. This vlue will lso defult to the templte nme, which cn e revised on the Sve & Run pge. Enter the text you would like to hve displyed in the heder. Indicte where you would like the note displyed (ll pges, first pge, none). Text entered here will disply t the ottom of every pge (i.e., disclimers, confidentility sttements). Text entered here will disply only on the lst pge of the report. (Useful for including vlues such s clcultion descriptions or contct informtion.) Nine heder styles re ville to select. Heder 2 is the defult selection. Ech heder includes compny nme, report title, nd run dte/time. Pge numers re ville in heders 1, 2, nd 6. Heders 1 nd 8 cn include compny logo. 1.3.4 Dt T The Dt t is criticl to the process of uilding n Ad Hoc Report. All dt tht you need for the report is selected here. Some dt fields my only e used in clcultions nd not ctully displyed on the report. There re two types of dt columns typiclly used: Simple: These re columns of dt sed on ctul fields ville within the Spphire system nd re the simplest types of dt columns to use. Clculted: With few exceptions, clculted columns re not ctul stored dtse fields, ut rther clcultions tht you uild ginst stored fields. (i.e., multiplying Options Grnted dt y Fir Vlue dt). These re more complex column types nd re discussed in section 2 of this document. Domins re predefined ctegories of dt tht re ville for use in uilding Ad Hoc reports. Some of the most commonly used domins include: domain nme Prticipnt Grnt Exercise Awrd Relese dt included Informtion relting to individuls such s ddress, employment history, insider sttus, txes, or user codes. Informtion relting to individul grnts, such s grnt dte, type, options grnted, or vesting schedule. Exercise specific informtion such s exercise dte, type, shres, nd tx dt. Restricted nd Performnce wrd specific informtion. Informtion relted to relese of wrds. Use the Dt Dictionry to get full description of the dt fields. Follow the steps elow to select Simple ColumNS for INCluSIon on the report 1. Choose the Domin tht the dt will e pulled from. 2. Select Aville Columns from Dt Group: Once Domin is selected, vlues will pper in the Dt Group 1 section. 3. Choose Selected Columns: Once vlues pper in the Aville Columns list, you cn move the Selected Columns list y pressing Select. 4. The Selected Columns included here re ville for use in the report s disply fields or for filtering. If you wish to remove ny columns, highlight the vlue nd click Remove or Remove All to strt over. 5. After you re finished selecting dt columns, you cn move to the next t tht you wish to modify. To chnge the column heder, Highlight the field to populte it in the Column Heder text ox. Edit the heder nd click Select. CretING Clculted Dt Column Simple columns represent columns of dt tht re ctully stored in the Spphire reporting dtse. In ddition to using these stored dt elements, the Ad Hoc Reporting tool lso llows the end user to crete clculted columns of dt to include in report. This is chieved y pplying mthemticl formuls to two or more simple dt columns (i.e., multiplying Options Grnted y Fir Vlue). There re severl clculted columns tht re ville for selection, ut others require the end user to crete the columns. The clculted columns ville for selection re Aggregte Option Price, Full Nme, Options Outstnding, Options Exercisle, nd Outstnding Vested. When creting Clculted Column, ll fields used must e from the sme domin. (See the Dt t section of this document for informtion pertining to domins). Severl stndrd mthemticl functions re ville for use: function Sum Count Avg Min Mx description Adds columns together Returns count of the numer of records Clcultes n verge of the records selected Returns the minimum vlue of the records selected Returns the mximum vlue of the records selected Follow the steps elow to crete Clculted Dt Column for inclusion on your report 1. Select Clculted Column on the Dt t. 2. Select function from the drop down menu (descried ove). 3. Select the first portion of the clcultion from the Aville Columns ox. Once selected, the field will pper in the formul ox. 4. Select n Opertor from the drop down menu: Add Sutrct Multiply Divide Conctente Open / Close prentheses 5. Select the second dt field for the clcultion. This cn e nother column or constnt vlue. 6. Repet steps until your formul is complete. 7. Nme the column in the Column Heder selection. (This is the nme for the column tht will pper on the report.) 8. Click Select to move the formul to the Selected Columns ox. Once selected column cnnot e modified. Importnt Note: You cnnot use Clculted Column to crete nother Clculted Column. 1.3.5 Filter T Settings in this t llow you to set restrictions on the dt tht returned y the report. Filters re not required. However, they cn ssist with the orgniztion of your dt nd reduce the mount of time report tkes to run y nrrowing the dt scope. Filters cn e set s either Simple or Complex Conditions. Enter the vlues for your filter here. c Press Select Condition to dd the filter. Opertors: = (equl to) <> (not equl to) > (greter thn) < (less thn) >= (greter thn or equl to) <= (less thn or equl to like (egins with)* unlike (does not egin with)* is null (is empty) is not null (is not empty) c * When using Like nd Unlike, you must use n sterisk (*) with the dt you re trying to mtch. For exmple, if you wnt to run report tht includes ll prticipnts with lst nme tht egins with the letters SMI (s opposed to ll prticipnts with lst nme of SMI), you must select Like SMI*. When to use Simple ANd Complex ConditioNS Simple Conditions: only used when the dt must meet ll of the specific criteri. For exmple, if you wnt to run report of ctive prticipnts who do not live in the United Sttes nd who received grnts fter 1/1/2014, you would enter the following filter criteri: Country Code <> USA, Termintion Dte is Null nd Grnt Dte is > 1/1/2014 This exmple uses the Country Code, Termintion Dte, nd Grnt Dte vlues. These fields must e selected on the Dt t so they re ville for use. Complex Conditions: only used when dt element must meet t lest one, ut not ll, criteri specified. c Enter the conditions of the filter nd then press Add To. Specify the reltionship etween the conditions you re entering with the options here: nd, or, not, (). c Once the complex filter is complete, press Select Condition. Morgn Stnley 2015 8
For exmple, if you wnted to run report of ll grnts issued fter 1/1/2014, regrdless of pln, s well s ll grnts from the 2012 SOP, you would enter the following complex filter criteri: Grnt Dte > 1/1/2014; or Pln Nme = 2012 SOP. In this exmple, grnt cn meet one or oth of the conditions specified. Simple nd Complex Conditions Comined: Both types of filters cn e used in conjunction with ech other when dt element must meet ALL of one group of conditions (Simple) ut only one (not necessrily ll) of nother group of conditions (Complex). For exmple, to generte report for ctive, non-u.s. prticipnts tht either hve grnts dted fter 1/1/2014 or grnts from the 2012 SOP pln, you will set up the following: Simple Condition 1: Prticipnt Country <> USA. Simple Condition 2: Termintion dte is Null. Complex Condition: Grnt Dte > 1/1/2014 OR Pln Nme = 2012 SOP. Follow the steps elow to set Complex filter criteri: 1. Select Complex Condition. 2. Select the Dt Element from the items listed. 3. Select n Opertor. 4. Enter constnt vlue or select nother column, if pplicle. 5. Click on Add To. 6. Select n Opertor for join condition. The opertors ville for join conditions re: nd, or, not, etc. 7. Repet this process until you hve ll of the specific rules in plce. 8. Click on Select Condition to move the filter to the selected condition section. To edit the filter, highlight it in the Selected Condition section nd click Edit. To remove the filter, choose either Remove or Remove All. 1.3.6 Pick List T Pick Lists llow you to include or exclude dt relting to specific prticipnts sed on predefined list of ttriutes (i.e., Nme, ID, Pln, Susidiry Code, Loction Code, Country). Although Pick Lists ccomplish the sme tsk s sorting on the filter screen, in some instnces, selecting the dt to include or exclude y Pick List my e more efficient thn creting filters. For exmple, if you wnt report tht includes 50 specific prticipnts who do not hve ny demogrphic informtion in common, creting filter would e very time consuming. Insted, you cn use Pick List to get to the sme end result more esily. d c e f Select the Pick List you wnt to use from the drop down menu. Select from the records presented. c Use the serch pttern feture to drill further into the system. d Highlight desired dt in the Aville Vlues column then Click > to move it to the Selected Vlues column. e Select whether the vlues in the Selected Vlues section will e included or excluded from the report. f This side r will indicte the numer of records tht hve een identified to e included/excluded from the report. AlterNAtive Method In some cses, you my hve n ctul list of prticipnts tht you wnt to include or exclude from the report nd will not need to serch for these prticipnts in the Aville Vlues column. Insted, you cn follow the steps elow to pste the IDs into the Pick List: 1. Select the Pick List you need. 2. Click on Go. 3. Click on Pste IDs. (A new window will open.) 4. Copy the numers from n Excel spredsheet using the copy/pste feture, nd pste into the Pste IDs column. 5. Click Vlidte to vlidte the IDs tht were psted into the column ginst the dt in the dtse. Those IDs, which re n exct mtch within the dtse, will pper in the Vlid IDs column. Any tht re not found in Spphire will pper in the Invlid IDs column. 6. Select either Cncel or Accept. By clicking Cncel, you will lose ll of your psted dt nd return to the min Pick List screen. By clicking Accept, the vlid IDs will e populted in the Selected Vlues ox. 7. Set the Condition Type: Select whether the vlues in the Selected Vlues section will e included or excluded from the report y clicking on the pproprite rdio utton. Importnt Note: The mximum numer of IDs tht cn e psted in one report is 1,000. If more re needed, you must run seprte reports. Morgn Stnley 2015 9
1.3.7 Group T The Group T is nother criticl component of the overll Ad Hoc Report process. This t defines the ctul dt tht displyed on the report, s well s the grouping criteri nd formtting of tht dt. If you re running Grouping nd Listing report, this is lso the section where you specify grouping, pge reks, nd sutotl criteri. The ility to group dt is only ville when running Grouping nd Listing type of report. Highlight one or more columns in the Selected Columns ox nd click on > to dd to the Report Groups ox or Show to disply it on your report. c This r llows you to see how much spce is remining on your report. If the r turns red, you hve run out of spce for dditionl dt. d Highlight group to edit its Group Properties. e Highlight selection from Columns to Disply to edit Formtting nd Column Properties. Highlight group to edit its Group Properties. f If you mke ny chnges, you must press Apply to sve them. c Importnt Note: If you hve chosen to group dt y prticulr column, ut still wnt tht column to pper on every line of the report, you must e sure to highlight tht column in the Selected Columns ox nd dd it to the Columns To Disply ox. Otherwise, the dt will pper only t the eginning of the report group nd on totl / sutotl lines. d f e FormttING Dt Severl types of formtting choices re ville for the vrious dt fields displyed on the report. When you highlight column in the Columns to Disply ox, the defult formtting is shown on the right side of the screen. With the column still highlighted, you cn mke chnges to the formtting. Click on Apply to sve the new formtting. Multi-line checkox: Applies to dt within columns nd llows the dt to wrp to the next line. For exmple, if column is set for only 15 chrcters, ut hs dt extending to 20 chrcters, it cn wrp the dt to extend to second row. Importnt Note: Column Hedings lwys wrp if they do not fit in the llocted spce; they re never truncted. The multiline feture only pplies to the ctul dt in column. Disply Width: Indictes the numer of chrcters set for the field nd determines the column width. This will ffect the overll mount of spce ville on the report. For exmple, Full Nme hs defult of 60 chrcters ut cn e scled down to free up more spce on the report. Alignment: Sets the column lignment. Use the drop down menu to select: Left, Right or Center. Formt: Provides formtting options. Different formtting defults pply to vrious dt types. Use the Formt drop down menu to view the other choices. Click on the desired option to select. If you hve highlighted dte field, clicking on the formt drop-down ox will provide you with numerous wys to disply dtes. If you hve highlighted numeric field, clicking on the formt drop-down ox will provide you with numerous wys to disply numers. Custom: Allows you to crete custom formt, if the desired formt is not ville. Use # for ctul numer of spces. (###.####). In this instnce, 23.7500 would disply s 23.75. Use 0 for designted plceholder. (000.0000). In this instnce, 23.7500 would disply s 023.7500. A comintion of the two my e necessry. (###.00). Suppress Deciml: In the event you re creting flt file, nd the file does not llow for deciml plces, you cn suppress deciml points y checking the Suppress Deciml checkox. Fixed Deciml: Only use this option if you hve formtted the dt to include specific numer of plces fter the deciml point; otherwise, you run the risk of shifting dt nd therefore jeoprdizing its integrity. Column Properties This section llows you to further customize the order in which you wnt the columns displyed. Columns re utomticlly ssigned to row nd column position sed on the order in which they re entered in the Columns to Disply ox. To rerrnge columns: Click on the column nme. Edit the row numer nd column numers desired. Notice tht ll fields re ssigned to row 1. You cn stck dt y ssigning row, column. Distinct count: Check ox to dd row count fter the grnd totl section of the report. For exmple, if you select distinct count for prticipnts, you will get count of prticipnts in tht section. Ech prticipnt is only counted once. You my lso choose to count such fields s grnts, wrds or exercises. Disply sutotls: Check ox to disply sutotls ox for numeric column, if desired. Weighted verge: Check ox to use weighted verge insted of sutotl. A drop-down list will pper with the numeric fields ville to weight the verge. Select the pproprite field from the drop-down list. Only numeric fields tht were originlly selected or clculted to crete the report cn e used to provide weighted verge. For exmple, when determining prticipnt s option price per shre on more thn one grnt, it isn t useful to simply sutotl the Option Price Column. Insted, you wnt to see the weighted verge price per shre. This is done y multiplying Shres* Option Price for ech grnt, dding ll of these totls together nd dividing y the numer of shres. You chieve this y using the drop down ox to designte where the numer of shres will come from (i.e., grnted, exercisle, outstnding). Importnt Note: You cn choose either sutotls or weighted verges; you cnnot use oth on the report. 1.3.8 Sort T The Sort t offers the ility to define specific criteri for sorting your report y certin dt fields or y groups. In mny cses, no specific sorting criteri is needed, especilly if you intend to export the Ad Hoc report into Excel. The report fields re listed in the None ox, indicting tht no sorting criteri re currently pplied to those fields. If running Grouping nd Listing type of report, you cn specify whether to sort the dt y certin groups. c To sort y specific fields, highlight the field in the None ox nd click the > rrow to move it to the Additionl Sorting Criteri ox. c Morgn Stnley 2015 11
1.3.9 Sve & Run T After ll other relevnt ts hve een used to crete your Ad Hoc Report; you cn then sve nd run the report y selecting the Sve & Run t. Here you cn lso estlish certin report descriptions nd ctegories. To sve the templte, select Yes. New templtes defult to Yes. To run report, select the Run Now check ox nd choose n output formt from the drop down list. If you wish to sve the templte, dditionl informtion is required: Templte nme: Enter templte nme if you wnt different nme thn the defult nme provided in the Heder t. Ctegories: Select ctegory from the list presented to identify the udience for the templte. Requestor: Enter the nme of the person or group who hs requested the report. Cretion Note: Indicte the reson the report ws creted (i.e., Ferury BOD meeting, Yer-End udit). Description: Provide rief description of the report. Click the Finish utton, to run the report fter completing the required fields. Importnt Note: If you would like to review smll smple of the report efore sving it, click the Show utton. This will open report showing the first 20 lines of dt, nd provides n opportunity to go ck nd edit settings if necessry efore sving the templte. 1.4 running n Existing Report There re two types of existing reports tht cn e run: Existing Templtes or Previously Run Unsved Templtes. ExISting Templtes These re templtes tht hve een previously creted nd sved. To run, select the Existing Templtes rdio utton on the Templtes t. This will populte the section elow with list of ll existing templtes in dte order with the most recently sved templte t the top. You cn resort this list y clicking the up/down rrows in the column heders. You cn filter the list y specific ctegories y selecting from the Ctegory drop down list. If serching for templte, you cn nrrow the serch y using filters for requestor, cretion dte, description, creted y, nd report ID. Click the rdio utton next to the templte nme to ccess the templte. From here, you cn either run the templte y going directly to the Sve & Run t, or you cn nvigte to the other ville ts to modify the templte settings. PrevIouSly RUN UNSAved TEMPLAteS These re templtes tht hve een run within the lst seven dys ut were not permnently sved nd do not pper in the Existing Templtes list. Morgn Stnley 2015 12
SvING Report When sving n Ad Hoc Report creted from n existing templte, you will hve two choices: sve new copy of the templte or modify the existing templte. To mke your selection, consider the following: If the report you creted is simply n enhncement or correction to the templte, you will wnt to select Modify Templte. This will sve your chnges to the existing templte under the sme Report ID. If you wish to preserve the originl templte ut lso keep your new report, then choose Sve Copy. Once selected, Dt Group 1 will populte with the ctegories ville for the prticipnt fields. When you click on nd highlight one of these group nmes (i.e., Prticipnt Generl), the individul fields ville will disply under Aville Columns. Scroll through the list, highlight the field you wnt, nd then click on the Select utton to move the field into the Selected Columns ox. The Dt Group tht includes Hire Dte is Employment. Click on Employment, nd severl new ctegories will pper in Dt Group 2. This is ecuse the employment fields re grouped into 3 ctegories. The most likely ctegory to include Hire Dte is Employment Bsic. Click on nd highlight Employment Bsic nd the ville dt fields will disply in the Aville Columns ox. 7. The finl fields needed for this report re the ddress fields. Scroll through the Dt Group 1 ctegories until you find the ddress ctegory. In this cse, the group nme is Address Info. Repet the steps outlined in step 6 to select the desired columns. Additionlly, if you wnt to chnge the Column Heder nme, simply updte the text in tht ox efore hitting Select. In this exmple, we re chnging Corp Addr: Address line 1 to e Address Line 1 then clicking on Select. The new Column Heder will e moved into Selected Columns. 8. All the dt fields for this report re now selected; however, we need to filter the dt to only show U.S.-sed prticipnts. From the min toolr, select Filter which will llow us to write condition to filter the dt. In this exmple, the condition is very simple s we re only going to disply prticipnts where the country in their ddress is U.S.. From the Selected Dt Elements ox select the field Corp Addr: COUNTRY. Then select the Condition which in this cse is Simple nd n opertor of =.
