Site Applicatins User Guide INTRODUCTION The applicatins described in this guide reside n either a CP720 card prcessing system, r an esite cntrller. cpcntrller cpcntrller is an applicatin that runs n the CP720. It cmmunicates with the site s POS as the first stp fr private card prcessing. cpcntrller determines if a swiped private card is valid befre frwarding the private card data t be prcessed by the ccengine (credit card engine) applicatin. Limited infrmatin is displayed by the cpcntrller applicatin. Cmmand Line: This is used by Triple E technicians when trubleshting issues with the cpcntrller applicatin. Enable CmmSpy Checkbx: This is used by Triple E technicians when trubleshting issues with the cpcntrller applicatin. Simulatr Buttn: This is used by Triple E technicians when trubleshting issues with the cpcntrller applicatin Shut Dwn Buttn: Click this buttn t clse the cpcntrller applicatin if necessary. Nte: Clsing the cpcntrller applicatin causes the private cards t stp prcessing thrugh the CP720. Leave this pen at all times unless therwise instructed by Triple E. Clear Buttn: This buttn clears the cmmunicatin windw that is displayed belw 3

Cmmunicatin Windw: This windw displays all f the cmmunicatin between the CP720 and the POS. It includes particular messaging frmats that allw the CP720 t parse the card number, quantity, price, etc. that is sent t the Triple E system frm the POS. Prt, Baud, Parity, Data, Stp: These are the cnnectin settings that the cpcntrller applicatin uses t cmmunicate with the POS. Cnnected: This windw shws if the CP720 is either cnnected r discnnected with the POS. 4

ccengine ccengine is used in card prcessing fr bth CP720 and esite lcatins. At a CP720 site, ccengine s functin is t authrize prprietary cards nly. At an esite lcatin, ccengine is utilized t authrize prprietary, debit, credit, and fleet cards. Limited infrmatin is displayed by ccengine. Enable CmmSpy Checkbx: This is used by Triple E technicians when trubleshting issues with the ccengine applicatin Shw Status: When checked, the status f card authrizatins is displayed in the cmmunicatin windw belw. When unchecked, the status f card authrizatins is nt displayed in the cmmunicatin windw belw. Cnnectin Type: This shuld always be set t Netwrk. We d nt currently allw ccengine cnnectins t the utside payment netwrk (such as Paymentech r NBS fr esites nly) with a dial-up cnnectin. Netwrk Re-Check Interval: This is the interval t which the ccengine applicatin recnnects t a netwrk if the netwrk was dwn. Lg Level: This drp-dwn list displays Errrs Only, Requests, and All. The selectins will determine which bits f infrmatin will be displayed n the ccengine windw. By default, we keep this set t Requests. 6

Clear Buttn: This buttn clears the cmmunicatin windw that is displayed belw. The data is stred in a lg file and can be accessed later. Shut Dwn Buttn: This buttn is currently nn-functinal. Nte: The ccengine applicatin is critical fr credit card and private card authrizatin. Clsing this windw causes credit card and private cards t nt be authrized fr any sales. Therefre we have disabled the Shut Dwn buttn. Cmmunicatin Windw: This windw displays the cmmunicatin between the card readers and the credit card r private card netwrk. A Green status means that the card authrizatin was successful. A Red status means that the card authrizatin failed. Duble-clicking n a status will drill dwn t further infrmatin abut the success r failure. When yu duble-click, Raw Infrmatin lists the reasn fr a card decline. Card Infrmatin displays details abut the card. Transactin Infrmatin displays details abut the specific transactin. 7

Sync Fr custmers wh have multiple sites that are managed tgether, Sync is an applicatin that runs n their CP720s and esites. Sync allws each site t send and receive data frm a centralized Synchrnizatin Server. This image is frm the Sync windw at a fuel site: The Sync windw n the server at the hme ffice will lk very similar t the image abve, except it will have a few mre ptins: Utilities: Clicking n this buttn will shw fur ptins: Manually Sync Data: Allws fr manual synchrnizatin f data between the esite/cp720 and the Synchrnizatin Server. Test Email Settings: Currently nnfunctinal. View Sync Rules: Allws yu t view the sets f data that synchrnize between the esite/cp720 and the Synchrnizatin Server. Unregister Site: This unregisters the current site that is synchrnizing. Cnnect Windw and Buttn: This is the website address that the Synchrnizatin applicatin uses t cnnect t the Synchrnizatin server. Clicking n the Cnnect buttn will cnnect the applicatin t the server. Site Windw: This is the site that the Synchrnizatin applicatin is currently cnnected t. 8

Change Buttn: Clicking the Change buttn will allw yu t change the site that yu are cnnected t. SQL Server and Database Windws: These are the settings that allw the site t cnnect t the lcal database fr synchrnizatin t the server. Lgin: These are the lgin settings that Triple e uses t cnnect t the lcal database fr synchrnizatin t the server. Cnnect Buttn: Clicking the Cnnect buttn will attempt t cnnect the site t the synchrnizatin server. Cancel Buttn: Clicking the Cancel buttn will clse the SetCnnectin windw. 9

tprt tprt is an applicatin that runs n esites that cmmunicates with the Allied frecurt cntrller (NexGen r ANDI) and ccengine. When the applicatin receives an apprval message frm ccengine, it tells the pumps they are authrized and fr hw much. When fueling is cmplete, tprt cntrls the settling f the transactins. Cmmand Line: This is used by Triple E technicians when trubleshting issues with the tprt applicatin. Shw Status Windw and Checkbx: When checked, the cmmunicatin between the tprt applicatin and the Allied bx is displayed in the cmmunicatin windw belw. When unchecked, the cmmunicatin will nt be displayed. Discnnect Buttn: Clicking this buttn will discnnect the tprt applicatin frm the Allied bx. When in a discnnected state, this buttn will display Cnnect. Reset Buttn: Clicking this buttn will re-set the settings that will be sent t the Allied bx. This bx is grayed-ut by default, and will be available after clicking the Discnnect buttn. Cmmunicatin Windw: This windw shws the cmmunicatin between the tprt applicatin and the Allied bx. Prt, Baud, Parity, Data, Stp: These are cnnectin settings that the tprt applicatin uses t cmmunicate with the Allied bx. Tank Tracking: This is the status f tank tracking; currently nn-functinal. 10

ccterminal ccterminal is an applicatin running in a Windws envirnment that allws custmers t take payment cards withut a physical card machine r standard POS. Transactin Type: Clicking n this drpdwn list will give yu ptins fr the transactin yu are ging t push thrugh t the payment prcessr. Select frm: Sale Sends thrugh a nrmal sale. Vid Sale Vids a previus credit card sale. Credit Sends a credit t the card (a return). Vid Credit Vids a previus credit. Pre Authrizatin Sends thrugh a pre authrizatin fr a credit card. Pst Authrizatin Sends thrugh a pst authrizatin fr a credit card. Vice Authrizatin Sends thrugh a vice authrizatin fr a credit card. Batch Inquiry Fr NBS nly Queries the NBS netwrk fr batch results. Batch Release Fr NBS nly Releases a credit card batch. 11

Gift Card Activatin Fr NBS nly Activates a Cenex Gift Card. Gift Card Recharge Fr NBS nly Recharges a Cenex Gift Card. Card Number: This field is utilized t enter a credit card number. *Required fr transactin Exp Date: This field is utilized t enter the expiratin date f the credit card. *Required fr transactin CVV: This field is utilized t enter the CVV f the credit card. Card Member: This field is utilized t enter the name n the card Street Name: This field is utilized t enter the address f the custmer. Zip Cde: This field is utilized t enter the zip cde f the custmer. Invice Number: This field is utilized t enter the invice number f the sale. *Required fr transactin Sub Ttal: This field is utilized t enter the sub ttal f the sale. *Required fr transactin Tax Pct: This field is utilized t enter the tax percentage rate. Ttal Amt: This field is ppulated autmatically after the Sub Ttal and Tax Pct are entered. Merchant Accunt: This drp-dwn field is utilized t select the merchant accunt yu will be using t prcess the transactin, if any. *Required fr transactin Print Receipt: Select this buttn if yu have a printer attached and wish t print a receipt after the transactin. Prcess: This buttn will prcess the transactin after all details have been entered. Clse: This buttn will clse the ccterminal windw. 12
