Bianchini Memorial ($500) (ORIGINAL PHS APPLICATION ONLY- NO EXTRA COPIES NEEDED) Eligibility: Must plan to attend a two or four year college or university Eric and Sue Bunker ($1,000) (ORIGINAL PHS APPLICATION ONLY-NO EXTRA COPIES NEEDED) Eligibility: Must have a 3.0 GPA, have an after-school or summer job, and be involved in sports. Student may be going to two or four year college or vocational/technical school. California Scholarship Federation (CSF) ($250 x 3) Eligibility: Student must be an active CSF member, participating in CSF school service projects, community service activities and plans to attend a career school or a two or four year college. Cinnabar School PTA (1 SCHOLARSHIP @$300) and 3 SCHOLARSHIPS AT $200) Eligibility: Must be a Cinnabar School graduate John Ferina Memorial Scholarship ($300) Eligibility: Must be a Penngrove Elementary School graduate, still reside in Penngrove and intend to use the money for college
Liberty Elementary School Foundation ($500) (ORIGINAL PHS APPLICATION ONLY-NO EXTRA COPIES NEEDED) Eligibility: Must be a graduate of Liberty School. Requirements: Essay: A description of the volunteer services you have provided for Liberty School. McDowell Drug Task Force ($250) Eligibility: GPA of 2.0 or better, completion of 40 or more hours of community service, going into field of education, health services public safety counseling or environmental. Also, Brian Catemetori Memorial Scholarship for industrial arts students only. Requirements: Essay: Discuss the type of community service projects you have been involved in, as well as your career goals. McNear Elementary School ($300 and $200) Eligibility: Must have attended McNear School and intend to go to a four year college. Petaluma High School Athletic Boosters ($100-$300) Eligibility: Applicant must be planning to attend a two year or four year college, must have earned a block letter in a varsity sport, and family must be a current member of the Athletic Booster Club. One letter of recommendation must be from a high school coach.
Petaluma High School FFA Boosters Scholarship (2 scholarships will be awarded at $1,000 each) Eligibility: Applicant must be a Petaluma High School Senior (boy or girl) pursuing a career in agriculture or an agricultural related field, must have some agriculture experience and be a member of FFA for at least two years, and must be entering a university or college, community college or accredited trade school. (Student to mail the application directly to donor) Petaluma Junior High School Polly Klass Scholarship ($250) Eligibility: Student must be a PJHS graduate with minimum 2.75 GPA and must have participated in performing arts and/or music in high school. Students planning to pursue college major in performing arts are strongly encouraged to apply. Petaluma High School PTSA ($300 x 3) Eligibility: Must have at least a 3.0 GPA, and the student s family must be a current PTSA member. Student is planning to attend a career school or college. Petaluma Riding and Driving Club ($500) Eligibility: Must be a member of FFA, Petaluma Junior Riders, 4-H or District 2 Junior Rodeo.
Petaluma Valley Rotary/Harold Alexander Scholarship (Four $750.00 scholarships available to PHS, Casa, St. Vincent s, San Antonio, Carpe Diem, Sonoma Mountain and Valley Oaks High Schools) Eligibility: GPA of 3.0 or above. Active in leadership role in school sponsored or community activities (Leadership does not necessarily mean being in charge or working behind the scenes of helping to facilitate project to ensure success is as important as being the leader). Requirements: Essay: How I make a difference in my community. Include any special circumstances and financial need. Petaluma Woman s Club (amount to be determined in February 2013) Eligibility: For any senior girl who has demonstrated good citizenship, leadership, and service to the community and to further a higher education. Hazel Schwobeda Memorial ($1,000) Eligibility: Must have attended a public high school in Petaluma for at least three years, going to a two or four year college, GPA of at least 3.20, financial need, academic potential and good citizenship. Requirement: Essay: Discuss your school and community involvement, employment record, educational and career goals, as well as your financial need. *Separate application only required contact Career Center Abe Tenenbaum Memorial ($1,000) Eligibility: 40% need, 40% academics, 20% activities, GPA 3.5 or above. Wilson School/Annie Arfsten ($250) Eligibility: Must have graduated from Wilson School
