Our Services World Class Rewinds At Evans Enterprises we do everything we can to assure you that your rewound motors and generators are equal to or better than the original equipment. In many cases, we can actually prove that our rewinds are superior to original factory windings. Evans Enterprises routinely rewinds AC, DC, Synchronous, Slip Ring and many other types of motors and generators. We have successfully rewound and repaired motors up to 26,000 HP and generators up to 18,000 KW and 13,200 volts. Each plant has the capability to weld, metalize, and machine a shaft, end bell, bearing housing or cut a new keyway to expedite the complete repair process. If a shaft is more economical to replace, we can utilize both horizontal and vertical presses to remove and replace the shaft. Complete new shafts are machined from like alloys. Today, with dwindling maintenance budgets and staffs, that is sometimes not the case. In response to this change, Evans Enterprises has made most of our services available either in one of our ten plants or at your plant site. Evans Enterprises offers turnkey on-site removal and replacement of most equipment, on-site rewinds and repairs, vibration analysis, dynamic balancing, laser alignment, hoist services, AC and DC drive installation and commissioning and much more. In addition Evans Enterprises owns and operates a complete fleet of pickup and delivery vehicles and can transport loads up to 55,000 lbs. or larger permitted loads. We have created an inventory of specialty OEM motors, by manufacturing locally, to help replace those hard to find motors located in the turbine nacelle. Our national agreements allow Evans to provide critical items at the very best pricing levels to the leaders in the Wind Industry. Generators not producing power are a huge cost for many.
