Kate has particular expertise in advising educational establishments and agricultural and farming businesses, and is an experienced advocate in the Employment Tribunal. Lindsey Bell, Partner T: 0845 209 1863 E: lindsey.bell@clarkewillmott.com Lindsey specialises in both contentious and non contentious matters for Plcs, SMEs and the public sector. Her experience includes providing complicated TUPE advice (including outsourcing and advising in relation to companies being bought out of administration), advising on: executive terminations and drafting of severance agreements, drafting contractual documentation, defending unfair dismissal claims, redundancies, the enforceability of restrictive covenants and defending discrimination claims. Lindsey has specialist experience in the law relating to recruitment agencies including advising on the status of temporary workers. Lindsey is an expert speaker. She is also a CEDR accredited mediator and is a recognised expert in the Chambers and Legal 500 directories. Marc Long, Partner T: 0845 209 1581 E: marc.long@clarkewillmott.com Marc s work encompasses all aspects of employment law, providing support to corporate colleagues and advising HR on day-to-day issues. Marc was called to the Bar in 1995 and has gained invaluable advocacy experience in both Courts and Tribunals. Marc regularly trains on employment law and has run events for both the Chartered Institute of Housing and ACAS. He represents a number of social housing providers and has particular experience of outsourcing schemes involving TUPE. Marc is one of the few employment lawyers to have advised employers handling strike action and as a result he has gained a unique experience of Trade Unions. Emma works closely with clients to provide commercial and pragmatic legal advice in relation to a wide range of legal issues. Emma s practice encompasses the entire spectrum of employment work, including advising on complex and high value employment litigation; all aspects of Employment Tribunal claims, executive terminations, contractual disputes, restructures and redundancy exercises, restrictive covenants, protecting confidential information and complex employee relations issues. Emma has significant experience of advising clients within the media, financial and telecommunications sectors. Paula Squire, Associate T: 0845 209 1200 E: paula.squire@clarkewillmott.com Paula advises on both contentious and non-contentious issues for a wide range of clients. She also provides inhouse training sessions for employers, regularly advising on complex issues of enforceability of post termination restrictions, Employment Tribunal actions and disciplinary action. Paula provides corporate and commercial property support on TUPE issues, business sale agreements and executive negotiations and regularly deals with individual/claimant and executive employment issues.

He advises a wide range of employers, professional clubs and senior employees on immigration and contractual matters (including bonus structures and tailoring restrictive covenants), Employment Tribunal litigation, and employment issues arising in corporate transactions. Tim advises on the UK Border Agency points based system and visa issues and has advocacy experience acting at Employment Tribunal hearings. For employers Sarah s work includes preparation and audit of employment contracts, policies and procedures. Sarah also advises on all elements of the employment relationship; to protect employers against the risk of claims and offering strategic advice and support should a dispute arise. Sarah regularly supports Respondent clients through Tribunal litigation; defending complex claims including discrimination and whistleblowing. For individuals, Sarah is experienced at negotiating high value severance packages. He has over 16 years experience comprising of litigation, management and employment law advisory work. His main specialisms are discrimination issues and settlement agreements but he has worked across and advised in relation to the full spectrum of employment law. Mark regularly gives talks and lectures on employment law and has appeared on the BBC and in The Times and The Guardian publications. Before joining Clarke Willmott, Mark worked at national firm, Thompsons Solicitors as their Head of National Compromise Agreement Unit and Advice Line teams. She advises on all aspects of Human Resources and particularly enjoys translating employment law into everyday workplace practicalities for businesses and making it all work in reality. Bex has a variety of experience having been Head of HR for a regional law firm for many years and also advised various other businesses on HR matters during this time. Prior to this she worked for large international hospitality organisations covering all aspects of HR. Bex has a degree in Hospitality Management, is an Affiliate member of the CIPD and a qualified psychometric and ability tester. She also actively involved in the Business Management Committee of the school where she is currently a Governor.
