The program is part-time, and classes are during evening hours. Students may take up to two years to complete all of the program requirements. About MOA Services... Students will be prepared for work directly assisting the physician, or for clerical work in a more administrative capacity. Trained Medical Office Assistants experience diverse employment choices, as the demand for medical services continues to increase due to an aging population. Students may find employment in physicians offices, clinics, public or private hospitals, nursing homes, or community health care facilities. Medical clerical positions are also available in research and care agencies, pharmaceutical firms, medical supply firms and related service businesses. Medical Terminology & Human anatomy 20 sessions CV12 $329.99 This 60-hour, in-depth medical terminology with human anatomy course meets the curriculum standards and prerequisite requirements of most public and private colleges for students entering MOA, Nursing Unit Clerk, Medical Lab Assistant, and other medical related Diploma Programs. The course also prepares you to apply medical terminology in the clinical setting. This course covers anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and common diseases. T his Certificate program is the fi rst of its kind in Canada, and prepares individuals for a career in the fast-growing private health care setting.
