Carol Linsley, Functional Financial Aid Consultant The purpose of the consulting session is to provide consulting, configuration assistance and clarification of the following topics: o Record Creation o EDE/CSS Dataload o Common Matching o Requirements Tracking o Need Analysis and Verification of Data o EDE Correction Processing o Transfer Monitoring o Applicant Budget o QuickFlow/My Banner Menu o Population Selection for Financial Aid o Letter Generation for Financial Aid Recommended participants Financial Aid Implementation Team Technical staff responsible for support of Banner Financial Aid Person(s) responsible for manual and electronic loading of federal application records and/or CSS Profile applications Person(s) responsible for defining and maintaining student tracking requirements, those responsible for running any reports or processes, producing correspondence, and selecting populations of students to run through various processes and reports Person(s) responsible for the verification or review of student need analysis Person(s) responsible for processing correction records via EDE Person(s) responsible for processing Transfer Monitor Records through NSLDS Person(s) responsible for building and maintaining student cost of attendance budgets Consulting objectives Review agenda topics and follow-up from training workshops 1 and 2 Assist institution in understanding the processes related to each of the topics discussed Answer questions regarding the entry of data on the validation and rule forms for each of the topics Assist in developing financial aid population selection rules using the Banner General system Population Selection module Assist in creating financial aid tracking letter(s) using Banner General system Letter Generation module Materials needed for this session These materials will be needed for this workshop.
