The SecureLock utility allows users to manage the Axiom EHP Flash disk by setting passwords to the secure partition and adjust the partition size. This guide will illustrate the steps required in order to store your data safely and securely. Set Password: 1. Double click the SecureLock application and click "Set Password" 2. Enter your password and your hint in the setup dialog boxes. 3. Click on the Check Mark to apply the password settings. *Note: The Show Password check box will decrypt the password characters. P.2
4. The SecureLock software will partition the flash disk into 2 partitions when the password is set for the first time. All of the data stored on the device will be deleted during the partitioning process. Please backup all of the data prior to setting the password. Once the password is set unplug and re-plug the device. 5. After re-plugging the device there will be two partitions. One is the public area with the SecureLock tool and the other is the secure 256-bit AES encrypted partition. P.3
Change Password: 1.Click the "Change Password" button. 2. Enter the old password, your new password and the new hint into the setup dialog boxes. 3. Click on the Check Mark to apply the new password settings. The new password will take effect the next time you log into the device. P.4
Login: 1. When a password exists the secure 256-bit AES encrypted partition cannot be read. Use the login function unlock the disk. 2. Enter your password and click the check mark button. 3. After logging in, the secure are will now be accessible for read and write functions P.5
Logout: 1. To logout, click the logout button to immediately lock the secure partition. 2. Once you logout, the 256-bit AES encrypted partition will be locked and cannot be accessed. P.6
Disable Password: 1. Click the disable password button to clear out the previously set password. 2. Enter your password and click the check mark button. Once the password is disabled, both the public and 256-bit AES encrypted partitions will be accessible for read and write functions. Password Hint: If you forget your password, click the Password Hint button P.7
Changing the Partition Size: 1. To change the partition size the password must first be cleared and disabled. 2. Changing the partition will delete all the data on the device. Please back-up all data before proceeding. 3. Drag the slider to the desired Secure/Public area partition size. Click the Check Mark to accept the partition size. Un-plug and re-plug the device for the changes to take effect. P.8
