District 1050 A Step-by-Step Guide for Club Administrators on how to enter club membership records in the RIBI Template Website system For District 1285 to function properly, all clubs that will be in District 1285 must create and maintain their membership records in the RIBI Template Website system. Those clubs not using the RIBI Template Website system to produce their website will not incur a charge for doing this. Preamble: If your club has not already done so it should appoint at least one member to become its RIBI Template Website system Club Administrator. It is recommended that the RIBI Template Website system Club Administrator is the same person who enters membership data in the RI database. All entries are made through the RIBI Template Website for District 1050. All Districts in RIBI have such a website whether or not they use it to create their own website. Step 1 Getting Started From your Internet browser go to: http://www.rotary-ribi.org/districts/homepage.php?districtno=1050ribi.org/districts/homepage.php?districtno=1050 Your screen will change to look like this: Click on Members Login
Your screen will change to look like this. Step 2 Registering as Club Administrator. (If you have already registered as Club Administrator go to Step 4.) Click on Help and from the dropdown list that appears select Register. Your screen will change to look like this. Step 3 Scroll down until you can see the Registration form: Your screen should now look this. Fill out the form with your own information. NB: The Username and Password fields are case sensitive and should contain no spaces. Make a written note of your choices for these fields as they will become your login criteria. NB: For security purposes the information entered in the Password field is only displayed as a series of dots.
Your screen should now look something like this but with your own information in the various fields. NB: As you are registering as a Club Administrator make sure that the radio button (club administrator) is checked. Only when you have checked that all of the information entered is correct, click the Next >>>> button. Your screen will return to look like this. Click on Members Login. Step 4 Enter your Login details Your screen should now look this. Using the User Name and Password that you chose in Step 3 complete the Login fields and then click the Log in button.
Your screen should now look like this but with your own email address showing. If your RI Membership Number is already entered then that will show as well. Click on Members Area. Click on Members Area and from the dropdown list that appears select Club Admin Home. Step 5 Club administrator s main page NB: From this point forward the screen shots illustrating the process will show the Rotary Club of Altrincham but on your computer screen your own club details will be shown. On the left hand Menu bar click on Club Members. Your screen will now look like this but will probably not have any members listed other than yourself.
Step 6 Entering Club Member information Click the Add Member button. 1. Read the notes. 2. If you want more help, click on the Tutorial button. Fill out the form and, when satisfied that the data is correct, click the Insert button Your screen will now look like this. Click on Club Members to return to the Club Members page.
Step 7 Completing the Member information Scroll down the list of members to find the entry for the member you just added. Click on the pen button on the line with the name of the member you want to add more information about. Your screen will now look like this. Complete as many of the fields as possible. Note the essential format for entering dates YYYY-MM-DD You can return to this screen later to add or update information. When satisfied that the data entered is correct scroll down and click on the Update button. Your screen will now look like this. Return to Step 6 and continuing entering information for every member in your club by clicking the Add Member button.
