JCD Program Design Team Program Designer ü Develop programming schedule for JCD ; ü Working closely with other members of the JCD team to plan mentor & instructor led trainings, educational speakers, social events, and more; ü Create tangible educational materials for learning humancentered design; ü Develop a mentor orientation. Requirement: ü Experience teaching & leading projects or workshops with Human-Centered Design; ü Experience developing educational materials *preferred*. 4
JCD Program Design Team Junior Program Designer ü Works with Program Designer & Director of Programming to create scheduling & content for JCD. Requirements: ü JCD 2015 fellow ü Passionate about improving the experience for future JCD fellows; ü Experience developing educational materials or workshops (bonus). 5
JCD Relationships Team ü Recruit instructors and mentors for next year s program. Crafting recruitment plan, spreading recruitment information, meeting and interviewing ideal candidates, and you will determine the ideal candidates; ü Train selected mentors and instructors together with programming team, preparing them with the teaching trip in China. Answer any questions the candidates have; ü Create a great teaching community while have fun networking with design professionals in the field; ü Recruit Speakers for the event. 6
JCD Operations Team Community Experience Designer ü Responsible for growing and maintaining an engaged community to enable collaborative learning and create a sense of belonging to a diverse JCD family among its members; ü Mostly work with social media like WeChat and our website, but no coding knowledge required. (http:// jiangchinadesign.com ) ü Post engaging contents, brainstorming ideas to revive our community and keeping alumni updated with our news. 7
JCD Marketing Team Marketing Designers ü Generate content for press release, WeChat posts, Weibo posts and website; ü Be the most up-to-date person on design news, design trend and communities; ü In charge of graphic designs including but not limited to: brochure, posters, banners, certificates, confirmation letters and WeChat posts; ü Website front-end design and content updates. Implement SEO with the site as well as Google/Baidu analytics, generating insights for site improvement. 8
JCD Marketing Team Media Relations ü Manage and extend relations with domestic media, create meaningful channels to deliver impact to greater audiences. ü Manage and extend relations with US media to create establish the JCD brand name in the United States. 9
JCD Talent Team Talents Acquisition ü Responsible for daily HR affairs, and have a chance to talk to the most talented Chinese students from all over the world; ü Arrange online interviews and work closely with mentors from America; ü Work with JCD Leadership Team and campus partners to arrange campus talk in universities (if possible). 10
