GATE OPERATION - Gate automation system connects with EDI system (container pre-notification message), monitoring system, Transfer Crane (TC) job control system and weighing system - Detects the vehicle/container number and calls yard positioning system to get the yard position - Issues SLIP, allocate optimized yard location through TC job control system - Operation process is delivered to gate monitoring system through message queue to control any trouble Gate Monitoring system Ship Monitoring system Gate Automation System 2. EDI & IP SERVICE - EDI service system runs based on 3rd party network or Internet - Communication protocols assist X25, TCP/IP, ASYNC, etc. As for document format, standard UN/EDIFACT and other private formats are all supported - IP service via the Internet provides container and berth allocation information to customers outside terminal.
