Register for a CIGnet username and password Go to the National Workforce Development Agency s website: www.nwda.gov.ky If you do not have a CIGnet account, click on the Sign up for CIGnet link Note: If you have access to Immigration online you do not have to create a CIGnet account. Use the same login details. Click on the register for an account link Page 3
Enter your First Name, Surname and email address Click on the Next button Enter a password that meets the requirements listed. Enter the password again to confirm. Click on the Next button Page 4
Fill in at least the first 3 required shared secrets. Note: You can also enter the 3 additional optional shared secrets to increase security. Click on the Register button Once the Register button is clicked the Confirmation page will be displayed like below. Page 5
Changing your CIGnet username and password Click on the Change Password link. Complete the form and press the submit button. Page 6
Register your Company with the National Workforce Development Agency Go to the National Workforce Development Agency s website: www.nwda.gov.ky Click on the Employers Submit Vacancies button. Page 7
Fill out all fields and note that any field with an asterisk (*) is required field. Click on the Next button Page 8
The summary page will appear as it does below with your information. Click on the Submit button Once you have submitted your registration request successfully, you will receive an email like the following, that confirms NWDA has received your request. Page 9
Registration is now complete and the Welcome page will display. If you would like to modify any of the information provided click the Edit Account button Note: The option to edit your company information is only available prior to your company registration acceptance. After acceptance, you will need to submit your request for changes to NWDA.jobs@gov.ky. You may update your account details and click the submit button to make changes. Page 10
Once the registration has been approved, you will receive an email confirmation like the one below. Log in to the Job Link Portal Go to the National Workforce Development Agency s website: www.nwda.gov.ky Click on the Employers Submit Vacancies button. Page 11
Enter your username and password. Click The Login button. Once the Company registration has been accepted your home screen will look like the following. Click on the company name to review company information, post job vacancies or review job vacancy referral information. Click on Register Associated Company to register an affiliate company. Click on Register Additional User to register another user login for this company. Page 12
Register a Job Vacancy Company information is displayed here. Click the Create New Job Posting button to submit a new job vacancy. Description of Job and Qualifications The job description should outline the duties and responsibilities of the job being posted. When creating your job description please consider and include the following items as well as specific duties and responsibilities required to perform this job successfully. Knowledge refers to the theoretical or practical understanding of the job or related subject, learnt from training or experience. Skills are the things a person can do or the proficiencies a person has developed through training and experience. Skills are usually may be job specific i.e. related to a specific task. Ability refers to the competence to perform an observable behaviour e.g. ability to work on own initiative. Page 13

Once the job is submitted the job will show below the Company information with a registration status of Pending until it is approved by the NWDA. You will receive a confirmation email notifying you that your vacancy submission has been received. Page 15
Once the Job submission has been accepted, Click the View link beside the job posting listing. This will allow you to view applicant referrals. You will receive a confirmation email notifying you that your vacancy submission has been approved. Page 16
Cloning a Job Vacancy A previously approved Job Vacancy post can be duplicated using the Cloning procedure. Please note that the job cannot be edited in the cloning process. If you need modification to the position you have two options: 1. Submit a new job vacancy post (suggested if there are a large amount of modifications necessary) 2. Email nwda.jobs@gov.ky to request modification once the vacancy has been cloned. Cloned vacancies will be given a new Job ID # when created, the submit date and expiration date are generated based on the date of cloning and the Job vacancy submission is approved immediately. Cloning is only available for positions that have been approved previously. Choose a job to clone by clicking the View link beside the chosen vacancy listing. Page 17
Review the job vacancy details to ensure the listing is appropriate for your needs. Click the Clone Job Posting button to duplicate and post the job vacancy. Page 18
Click ok on the Clone confirmation dialog to complete submission of the new (duplicated) job vacancy. You will receive a confirmation email notifying you that your cloned vacancy submission has been approved. Page 19
The approved cloned vacancy will appear in the Jobs posted list immediately. You can click the View link to review the details. Note that the Posting and Expiration dates have been adjusted to the date the vacancy was cloned. View the details of the job vacancy post. Page 20
Review and Process Referrals Once the magnifying glass has been selected the job posting will display a list of task options that are available. Click on Self Referrals to view applicants that have referred themselves for consideration for the job vacancy. Here you can view a list of self referrals that have been submitted Page 21
To view a referral s resume click on the Document /magnifying glass icon Once clicked it will give you the document will be downloaded. Here you can open the document or save it to your computer. This way you can view the applicants resume online. Page 22
To enter notes regarding a referral s submission or recruitment status click on the Document /pencil icon Click the Apply Changes button to save information entered. Enter relevant information. Was the referral hired? When? What was the reason the referral was not hired? Page 23
Click on NWDA Referrals to view applicants that have been submitted by and Employment Services Officer for consideration for the job vacancy. This area works the same way the Self Referral section worked. Please refer to that section to see assistance with viewing resumes or leaving comments. Page 24
Click on Referrals Revieweds to view applicants that have been reviewed for consideration for the job vacancy. Referrals are moved to this section when you have entered comments. To view comments entered for a referral click on the magnifying glass icon You can enter changes to the information entered and click the Apply Changes button to save them. Page 25
