Thomas J. Flanagan Senior Vice President Investments Tom began his career with E.F. Hutton & Co., Palm Desert, in 1984, and joined UBS, Indian Wells (formerly PaineWebber), in 1988. He earned a B.S. in business from the University of Oregon in 1975, and a Personal Financial Planning Certificate from the University of California, Riverside, in 1986. Tom is a Paul Harris Fellow and past member of the Rancho Mirage Rotary Club. He is also a past president of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Desert. Tom has lived in the desert since 1980. He resides with his wife, Kelly, and daughter, Kaileigh, in Indian Wells. Tom is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing and golfing. James K. Bruner, CFP Vice President-Investments Jim started in the financial services industry in 1990 with Bank of America. Prior to joining UBS in 2007, Jim was Senior Vice President with the Private Bank of Bank of America, Palm Desert. Jim has been a Certified Financial PlannerTM professional since 1999. He holds an M.S. in financial planning from the College for Financial Planning and a B.A. in communications from California State University, Fullerton. He sits on the boards of the Palm Springs International Film Festival and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Desert. He is a past president of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Desert. Jim lives with his wife, Kelly, in Bermuda Dunes, and enjoys outdoor activities, including off-roading and boating.

Patrick M. Lizza Financial Advisor Pat spent 17 years in the high end hospitality industry developing significant trust with clients and an understanding of their needs. He joined UBS in 2011 and aims to reduce the level of concern and insecurity clients have about their future. Pat earned a B.A. in history at the University of California, Berkeley. He serves as treasurer on the Board of Directors of Xavier Jesuit College Preparatory High School and on the Southwestern Growers Tournament Committee for the Boys and Girls Club of the Coachella Valley. Pat and his wife, Tricia, live in La Quinta with their children, Meg and Hogan, who are talented students and avid cross country runners. Robin R. Potenza Senior Registered Client Service Associate Robin focuses on providing exceptional customer service and is the team s administrator. She began her career in the financial services industry in 1980. In 2011, she was appointed CSA Coach and was awarded CSA of the Year for the Indian Wells Branch. She holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, a California insurance license and is a notary public. She earned a B.S. in agriculture from Cornell University and an A.A.S. from the State University of New York, Farmingdale. Robin and her husband, Nick, live in La Quinta and have two grown daughters. She enjoys spending time with her grandson, arts and crafts, travelling and cycling. Tia J. Lopez Senior Registered Client Service Associate By assembling a balanced team with complementary skills and experience, we help you structure a plan to enjoy the life you ve earned. Pat Lizza Tia specializes in client support for the team. She started her career in 1995, and holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. She works with high net worth clients to provide the highest level of knowledge and client service excellence, with detailed experience and wisdom in investment compliance and operations. Tia coordinates the team s marketing, philanthropy and community engagement activities and client events. She is a native of the Coachella Valley and enjoys cycling, hiking and spending time with her family.
