Only then will I talk with you about the details of investing: how much risk makes sense, your asset allocation, and which investments may be appropriate for your portfolio. But that s just the beginning. Over time together, we will revise your strategy to reflect new aspirations and priorities, helping your strategy keep pace as the markets change and your life unfolds.

3 About G. G. Schroeder of Morgan Stanley is a Northwest-based Financial Advisor and Portfolio Manager serving a select number of individuals, families, and businesses. Mr. Schroeder has 14 years of investment experience, all of which are with Morgan Stanley. G. has extensive experience in advising families in aspects of private wealth advisory and portfolio management. G. s personal expertise and knowledge in asset allocation and portfolio construction is complemented and reinforced through research and industry leading thinking from Morgan Stanley s Global Investment Committee. G. completed the Certified Investment Management Analyst program through the University of Pennsylvania s Wharton School of Business and received his undergraduate degree at the University of Washington. G. s commitment and dedication to his clients has been recognized by Seattle Magazine, awarding G. the Five Star Wealth Managers award in 2012 and G. is also a member of the Investment Management Consultant Association. G. has a wife, Lisa, and two boys Lucas (4) and Gavin (2). In his spare time, G. competes in Ironman triathlons and most recently finished his 3 rd Subaru Ironman Canada held in The Five Star Wealth Manager award, administered by Crescendo Business Services, LLC (dba Five Star Professional), is based on 10 objective criteria: 1. Credentialed as a registered investment adviser or a registered investment adviser representative; 2. Actively employed as a credentialed professional in the financial services industry for a minimum of five years; 3. Favorable regulatory and complaint history review (please note unfavorable feedback may have been discovered through a check of complaints registered with a regulatory authority or complaints registered through Five Star Professional s consumer complaint process see page FS-2 for more information); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal firm standards; 5. Accepting new clients; 6. One-year client retention rate; 7. Five-year client retention rate; 8. Non-institutional discretionary and/or non-discretionary client assets administered; 9. Number of client households served; 10. Education and professional designations. Wealth managers do not pay a fee to be considered or awarded. Once awarded, wealth managers may opt to purchase additional profile ad space or related award promotional products. The award methodology does not evaluate the quality of services provided. The award is not indicative of the award winner s future performance. 2,978 Seattle wealth managers were considered for the award; 597 (approximately 20 percent of the award candidates) were named Five Star Wealth Managers. This represents no more than 7 percent of the financial services professionals in the Seattle area. 5 My Consultative Process Charting a prudent course to financial independence requires a well conceived, personalized wealth plan with defined long term goals. My wealth advisory consultative process can help you design a cohesive wealth plan for the future that includes: 1. Discovery Before our first meeting, I suggest that you take a fresh inventory of your wealth, including where each asset is located and what it is worth. At that meeting, I will begin by exploring many questions to try to capture what matters most to you and fully understand what you want to accomplish with your wealth. We will talk about you, the kind of lifestyle you enjoy, what worries you and what you are passionate about. Our conversation will also explore your values, key relationships, total assets, preferred manner of communication, as well as identify the other professional advisors with whom you work. That way, I can help you determine how all the facets of your financial situation could dovetail effectively. 2. Analysis Recommendation Based on our discussion, I will analyze your personal and financial information, including liabilities, and assess risks and identify potential threats to your financial health. I will present you with a personalized wealth plan that can help address your income and cash flow needs, borrowing requirements, asset protection, retirement planning, wealth transfer, philanthropy and other areas beyond investment management. By taking the additional time to carefully review these topics, I hope to make you comfortable with proposed investment strategies and service providers before implementing your wealth plan. 3. Implementation After you have approved your wealth plan, I will work closely with you to implement it, bringing an objective approach, and paying special attention to how the various parts of your wealth plan can affect, enhance and integrate with each other. Wherever appropriate, I will suggest seeking additional, in depth advice on particularly complex issues we have identified, including family dynamics, estate planning, tax planning strategies and more. Whatever approach we decide on, I will help you keep your investments on track. 4. Reviewing Objectives I believe that ongoing communication is a vital component of our ongoing relationship, and I am committed to keeping abreast of your changing financial needs. Your financial documents provide the foundation for regular meetings, and I will review your portfolio at your request and whenever you feel that your circumstances have changed. I will then seek to make certain that your assets are positioned according to your evolving needs.
