A special page has been created to assist with many of your questions as we make the transition to First Security.

FIRST SECURITY BANK & TRUST WELCOME GUIDE 5 ONLINE BANKING I want to enroll for online banking. How do I get started? Go to www.1stsecuritybank.com, click on online banking login, click on enroll now, and follow the prompts. Will I have to wait until after December 4 to enroll for First Security s online banking? Yes, you may enroll beginning December 5. Once I have enrolled for online banking, when will it be activated? Enrollments are reviewed during business banking hours and are usually available the next business day. However, online banking staff will be reviewing and processing enrollments on December 5. Will online banking be available during the merger or will there be outages? Hampton State Bank s online banking system will no longer be available effective at 5 p.m. on Friday, December 4. Your new First Security online banking will be available for you to enroll beginning December 5. Will my current Internet Banking recurring transactions and scheduled transfers move into the new system? We encourage you to jot down or print this information. These items will not transfer to the new system. You will need to schedule the items again after December 5. Will I still be able to view my checking and savings account transactions? Effective at 5 p.m. on December 4, you will no longer be able to view your transactions under the Hampton State Bank system. This information will not transfer to First Security s online banking system. We encourage you to print or save any checking or savings account transaction history to your computer prior to December 4. My password didn t work, what should I do? Check if you typed it correctly. Slow down. Did you set your password using all lower case letters? Be sure the caps lock is off. Remember that your password requires that you use at least one number and one special character. Invalid special characters are apostrophe, quotation marks, \ backslash, {} brackets, and ~ tilde. What happened? It looks like I locked out my password. You have 3 attempts to log in then Online Banking security will lock you out. At this point you will need to contact the bank to unlock your account.

FIRST SECURITY BANK & TRUST WELCOME GUIDE 6 What should I do if I cannot remember my password? Click on forgot password on the password login screen. You will then answer two security questions created during enrollment, and an email will be sent to you with a temporary password. Or you may contact First Security at 800-272-0159 (ask for eservices) and we will assign a temporary password to you. How do I change my password? Login to Online Banking as you normally would. On the left navigation bar, go to Services>Change Password. Under Change Password, you need to enter your old (current) password and then your new password. Update your security questions and click submit when finished. My password choice won t work. What s wrong? Minimum password requirements are 8 characters, one number, and one special character. Invalid special characters include the apostrophe, quotation marks, \ backslash, {} brackets, and ~ tilde. Does First Security s online banking system have an option to download account information to my bookkeeping software? Yes, First Security offers the option of downloading your account information into your Quicken or Quickbooks programs. I have initiated a funds transfer but I don t see it in my account. What happened and where did it go? To transfer funds from one First Security account to another, select transfer on the left side screen options. Choose the account you wish to transfer from and to, dollar amount, and scheduled date. At this point you can also set up a recurring transfer of funds. You must click Yes on the next page in order for the transfer to go thru. Transferring funds from your First Security account to an account at another financial institution can be done within Transfer Money in Bill Pay. For more information, refer to Bill Pay section. How can I tell that my funds transfer was successful? Once the transfer is completed you can choose the Transfer tab again and see the transfer in the Pending Transfers section. For transfers outside done thru Transfer Money within Bill Pay, refer to the Bill Pay section.

FIRST SECURITY BANK & TRUST WELCOME GUIDE 7 Why do I have to go through a registration process when I use a different computer than I originally used to login to online banking? This is a security feature to verify that you are who you say you are. Any time you log into Online Banking from a different computer, you are required to go through the process to register that computer. For example, you originally logged into Online Banking at home, but you want to do a funds transfer from your computer at work. You will need to register the computer you are using at work. Registering the computer consists of choosing Private Computer Register in the drop down box and answering one of your security questions. After you have registered your computer, you will enter your user name which will then take you straight to your password. Only register a computer that is your own personal computer that you have access to. BILL PAY When will I have access to First Security s Bill Payment system? Hampton State Bank s Bill Payment will go offline at 5 p.m. on November 27. First Security s Online Banking and Bill Pay will be available to Hampton State Bank customers beginning December 5. Will the Bill Pay payee/vendor information I have set up transfer to the new system? Your payee/vendor information will not transfer to the new system, and you will need to set them up after enrolling in Online Banking and Bill Pay. Will my recurring and scheduled Bill Pay items transfer to the new system? These items will not transfer to the new system. Any scheduled bill payment under the old system will be made through November 27, 2015. You will need to recreate and schedule the items again after conversion. We encourage you to jot down or print your Bill Pay recurring and/or scheduled payment information. Is First Security s Bill Pay service free? Yes! It is free to any customer who has a checking account with First Security. Is Bill Pay secure? Bill Pay is recommended by security experts as one of the safest ways to pay your bills. According to research, 90% of identity theft does not occur through the Internet (research gathered by Javelin Strategy & Research). Identity thieves still use the tried and true methods of stealing mail or discarded trash. Combined use of Online Banking and Bill Pay helps to protect consumers against identity theft and check fraud. For additional security, Bill Pay requires 128-bit encryption and personalized login information.

FIRST SECURITY BANK & TRUST WELCOME GUIDE 8 How do I enroll for Bill Pay? You must first be enrolled in Online Banking. Go to www.1stsecuritybank.com and, if you are already an Online Banking user, log in and then click on Bill Pay under the Transactions menu. If you are not already an Online Banking user, click on enroll under the Online Banking login box and follow the enrollment instructions. Or you may contact one of our Customer Service Representatives at 800.272.0159 (ask for eservices). Who can I pay with online Bill Pay? You can pay virtually anyone with a current address within the continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. How far ahead of a bill due date do I need to request a check? You need to allow at least 4 days in advance of when a bill is due to approve the issuance of a check. A check is not issued the same day you approve it. Keep in mind if there is a federal holiday then add a day accordingly. For example, if you submit a bill for payment on a Thursday, the check will not be created that day or Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday (if it is a federal holiday). In this example, the check will be created on Tuesday. How do I know if a paper check will be issued or if the payment will be sent via ACH (Automated Clearing House)? It depends on the payee. Some payees don t have an option of receiving an ACH payment. As a general rule, major companies such as credit card companies will accept ACH payments, whereas small businesses will accept a paper check. On your bank statement, Bill Pay will show a check number if it was paid with a check. If it does not show a check number, then it was paid via ACH. What are the benefits of electronic payments? Electronic payment is the fastest method for subscribers and greatly reduces the risk of human error. Electronic payments are generally received by the payee within 5 business days at a minimum. What are the benefits of check payments? Check payments allow you to pay anyone through your Bill Pay account. No more postage or trips to the post office. Plus, check payments through Bill Pay are electronically recorded, may be stopped before 1 p.m. Central time on the date they are scheduled to process, and are virtually tamper resistant. The estimated arrival time for checks is based upon the payee s zip code and is displayed while you schedule a payment. Can I schedule when my bills should be paid? Yes. Be sure to allow a minimum of 5 days prior to the due date to allow time for the Bill Pay vendor to issue the check.

FIRST SECURITY BANK & TRUST WELCOME GUIDE 9 When is the cut off time for when I can pay bills online? 2 p.m. daily after which the transaction is considered the next day s business. Are online bill payments guaranteed? They are not guaranteed by the U.S. Postal Service or Automated Clearing House Network (ACH). However, Bill Pay offers a payment success rate of 99.99% and greatly reduces the risk of human error. In the event a check payment is not received, Bill Pay support will stop and re-issue the payment, as well as provide proof of processing to the payee. Bill Pay also provides a history of your payments and payment information and is integrated directly into account statements. I requested my payment on time, but it hasn t been taken out of my account yet. What happened and how do I know it worked? Even though you used the online system, payments are processed the same way as if you wrote a personal check. It is not real time from the moment you click pay my bill. When the payment check is processed through the banking system (whether by paper check or ACH), it will be deducted from your account at that time. Monitor your account in Online Banking. If a reasonable amount of time has passed, contact your payee directly to verify that your payment has been received. What happens if the person/company I paid does not cash the check? If a check is never processed or cashed by your payee, please contact the bank. We will take a look and see if the check can have a stop payment placed on it or be credited back electronically. I don t want to schedule my bills. Can I set up a reminder to pay them? Yes. If you do not want to set up automatic or recurring payments, you can request to receive an email reminder to schedule and pay your bill. This is particularly effective for regularly occurring bills that are not the same amount every due date. The system simply reminds you to pay your current bill. What do I do about the payment stub that usually is sent to the payee with my payment? Include the vendor account number in the memo field. If you are not able to do that when setting up the payee/vendor, then go to Manage My Bills, choose the biller you d like to change, and select Change Bill Info. Note: memos do not appear if the bill is paid by ACH. What do I do if I forgot to change my account number and the payment will come out of the wrong account? Click change while your payment is pending and then change your account number. What do I do if I put in the wrong dollar amount and I already clicked pay? Click change while your payment is pending and change the dollar amount.

FIRST SECURITY BANK & TRUST WELCOME GUIDE 10 How do I set up an account transfer? If you have more than one account set up in Bill Pay, you can transfer money between them by clicking Transfer under account information and set up a transfer. To transfer funds to an account outside of First Security, use the Transfer Money option in Bill Pay. Click the Transfer Money tab at the top of the page and choose add an account. This will let you add your other financial institution s information. Once completed, it will send 2 test deposits to that account to verify the information you entered is correct. Enter the test deposits on the Transfer Money tab to verify your information. It s free to transfer money into an account at First Security, however, to transfer to another financial institution there is a $2 fee. How long does it take to complete an account transfer? The transfer date is the date the money is withdrawn from the from account. Transfers are typically deposited in your to account on the transfer date. Transfers may be delayed due to transfer amount, weekends, or holidays. How can I tell that my funds transfer was successful? Once you have completed your transfer in Transfer Money, you can see that amount in the Pending transfers section on the right side of the page. If something is not correct with the transfer, and the transfer is still pending, you can delete or edit the transfer at this time. MOBILE DEPOSIT What is Mobile Deposit? Mobile Deposit is a way for you to deposit your checks anytime, anywhere using your smart phone or tablet. How do I get started with mobile deposit? Download our app, FSBT Mobile Deposit, through the ios app store or Google Play store. Select Sign up and fill out the information. Once you submit the application, we will review it to make sure the information you provided matches what we have on file. You will receive a welcome email once you have been accepted. How long does it take for my check to be in my account? Generally, your check will be available in your account after 3 p.m. that business day. For example, if you accept a check at 10 a.m. on Monday, it will go into your account after 3 p.m. on Monday. If you send a check on Saturday, that check will not go into the payee s account until after 3 p.m. on Monday.

FIRST SECURITY BANK & TRUST WELCOME GUIDE 11 What do I need to do to make sure my check is accepted? When you submit a check through Mobile Deposit, we are looking to make sure the 4 corners of the check are visable, the check is not blurry, that we can clearly read everything, and that you have the words Mobile Deposit written under the endorsement on the back of the check. These are reasons we could reject a check. You will receive a generic email to the email address you signed up with letting you know if the check was accepted or rejected. We encourage you to log back into the app after submitting a check and choosing the Review tab a green checkmark means the check was accepted, yellow is pending (we haven t reviewed it yet), and red means it was rejected. Click on the checkmark to see why the check was rejected. MOBILE BANKING How do I get started with mobile banking? You must first be enrolled in Online Banking. Go to the ios app store or Google Play store on your device (smart phone or tablet) and search for First Security Bank & Trust. Once downloaded, enter your user name, answer a security question, and enter your password. Once you have logged in for the first time and accepted the terms and conditions, you will just be asked for your password to login. You can do everything through the app that you would be able to do on the web. How long will I be able to use Hampton State Bank s mobile banking? It will go offline at approximately 5 p.m. on December 4. TELEPHONE BANKING Will telephone banking be affected by the merger? The phone number will be 888-532-2500. All other features remain the same. NOTE: This service may not be available from 5 p.m. on December 4 until sometime on December 7 as we convert to First Security s telephone banking system. Will I be able to check my account history via telephone banking? Checking and savings account transaction history will not transfer to the new system. Will I need to re-enroll for telephone banking after the merger? Yes. Dial 888-532-2500 and follow the prompts to re-enroll. The security code is the last four digits of the primary account holder s Social Security number.

FIRST SECURITY BANK & TRUST WELCOME GUIDE 12 ESTATEMENTS Will I be able to view my estatements under the new online banking system? You will not have access to Hampton State Bank estatement system after December 4. We encourage you to print or save checking and/or savings estatements under the Hampton State Bank system to your computer, prior to December 4. How do I acess my First Security estatements? Once you receive your first email indicating your statement is available, you can enroll in estatements. Go to our estatement website https://1stsecuritybank.securedocview.net/ and choose Register. It will ask you to verify that you can read an Adobe file by entering a key code found in red. It will then take you to a page asking you to enter the following information: full account number, email address on the account, mail code (found in your statement is ready email), and PIN number (during the interim your PIN will be 1234). Once this information is entered, you will create your user name and password (requirements for both are found in the upper right hand corner of the page). When the registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email to the email address on file with an activation link. Click on the link to activate your account. The mail code and PIN# are only required during the enrollment process and won t be needed after that. How will I know when my estatement is ready? You will receive notification via email that your statement is available for viewing. Click on the link in the email and you will be directed to the estatement access page. If you are accessing the page for the first time, you will need to enroll. Can I get an estatement for my checking and savings accounts? You can mix and match and get an estatement for your checking and/or savings account. How do I retrieve my estatement? Log into the estatement access page. Once logged in, you will see your accounts on the left side along with dates. Click on the date you would like to view. Can I still see my check images with estatements? Check images are always available thru estatements. Can I view statements prior to when I enrolled for estatements? No. You can only view estatements from the date you enrolled for estatements. Even though other dates are options on the list, no statement is available. For example, if you enrolled in January, you cannot view your November or December statement. For a small fee, you can always request a paper copy of your statement from First Security.

FIRST SECURITY BANK & TRUST WELCOME GUIDE 13 Where is the month date on my estatement? Depending on your statement cycle date, that will be the date showing on your statement. For example, if your statement cycle ends on the 12th, your April 12th statement will show a start date of 4/12/15. Will I always be able to view an estatement or are they available for a limited time? estatements are available online for 7 years. However, we encourage you to save them or print them monthly. POPMONEY What is PopMoney? PopMoney is a personal payment service where you can send money through an email or text message. There is a $.50 fee for Standard delivery (3 business days) and a $.75 fee for next business day. How does PopMoney work? To send money, log in to your online banking account and look for PopMoney. Send money to anyone using their email address, phone number, or account information. When someone sends you money, you can log into your online banking and go to the PopMoney tab in Bill Pay to accept the funds. If you nor the recipient have PopMoney through your online banking, you can simply go to PopMoney s website to accept the payment. When will the recipient receive the funds? Funds are generally available to the recipient within 3 business days when choosing Standard Delivery and the next business day (as long as it is done before 2 p.m.) for Next Day delivery. They do have to accept the transaction before the funds can be deposited (unless account information was used to do the transaction). Do I have limits on the amount of money I can send? Yes. The limits are based on a soft credit check performed by the vendor CheckFree. To view your limits, you will need to enroll in Bill Pay and open the PopMoney tab. Can I send money internationally? No, PopMoney cannot send funds internationally.

How will FDIC insurance coverage be affected if I already have accounts with First Security Bank and Hampton State Bank? Hampton State Bank and First Security Bank & Trust are members of the FDIC. As a result, if you have deposits at more than one of the banks that together total more than $250,000, your applicable FDIC insurance may be affected by the merger. All deposits insured by the FDIC when the merger is completed will remain fully insured for a regulatory period of six months. If your account is a certificate of deposit, your insurance coverage applies until the first maturity date following the six month transition period. After the six month transition period, any accounts with common account ownership will be subject to the FDIC insurance limit of $250,000. If you would like more information about how the merger could affect your insured deposits, please contact your local branch. They are ready to review your specific account ownership needs.
