HOW CAN YOU GET TO. several important places from dormitory? AGH University of Science and Technology (AGH UST) AGH UST buildings (in this case main building A0 most distant building from the dorm) are located very close to dormitory. Usually, students are going by foot, standard walk takes no more than 15-20 minutes. Krakow Main Square Fig. 1.Direction dormitory - AGH UST Buildings. Data generated by: https://www.google.pl/maps/preview Krakow Main Square (Rynek Glowny) is also not so far away from the dormitory. Standard walk by foot takes no more time than 30-40 minutes. The other possibility to get to the Krakow Main Square is to use tram. The nearest tram stop from dormitory is called: UNIWESYTET PEDAGOGICZNY. The final stop can be: TEATR BAGATELA. All trams from UNIWERSYTET PEDAGOGICZNY are passing TEATR BAGATELA. From TEATR BAGATELA to the Main Square you have to go by foot, but not so long (about 5 minutes, along the SZEWSKA street). Balice Krakow Airport The best and low-cost way to get to airport is to use public transport (bus). From the bus stop called MIASTECZKO STUDENCKIE AGH you need to choose bus number 208. This bus stop is about 100 m from the dormitory, in the direction of KRAKOW AIRPORT. The final stop is the last stop on a bus route and it is called KRAKOW AIRPORT T1. Other possibility is to use TAXI for more information, look to the taxi section. Important Please remember, that Krakow AIRPORT is in the 2 nd zone Agglomeration. Due to this fact, the prices of tickets are more expensive. Please look in the welcome guide, chapter public transport in Krakow. Rail station and bus terminal Fig. 3. The fastest way to get there is to use public transport bus. From the bus stop called MIASTECZKO STUDENCKIE AGH you need to choose bus number 208. Supermarkets city canters In Krakow, there are lot of supermarkets and city centres, with cinemas, theatres and other amusements. Data generated by: https://www.google.pl/maps/preview Bus number 501 First stop: MIASTECZKO STU- DENCKIE AGH (in the direction of CHEŁMOŃSKIEGO OS.). Final stop: CHEŁMOŃSKIEGO OSIEDLE. Emergency and medical care Bus number 208 First stop: MIASTECZKO STUDENCKIE AGH (in the direction of DWORZEC GŁ. WSCHÓD.) Final stop: DWORZEC GŁÓWNY WSCHÓD. Other possibilities: Tram number: 4, 14 from UNIWERSYTET PEDAGOGICZNY to DWORZEC GŁÓWNY. By foot: it is about 15 min from main square, Floriańska street, then turn right towards the underground passage. Nearby, there are few medical services. The first one is SCANMED MULTIMEDIS (Armii Krajowej 5 street), that performing services in the field of ambulatory care, diagnostics and medical transport. Post office and exchange The post office POCZTA POLSKA is located inside the Jagiellonian University Piast, across the Nawojki street. Other postal supplier is INPOST. You can receive and send packages using parcel locker also in the area of University Campus. More information in the section post office. The nearest exchange is located 86 Królewska Str.
