1 Dormitories of the University of Silesia General information Each incoming student is eligible to rent in the University Student Hostels. There is no separate Application Form for accommodation. It is enough to tick the kind of room you wish to have on the general Application Form. Dormitories are located in 3 cities of the region; therefore, accommodation is suggested according to the faculty. Find your faculty and decide where you want to stay. Generally, rooms contain bedcovering and bedclothes, but no dishes or cutlery. In almost every single room there is to the. Kitchen, laundry, television and computer rooms are available for general use. The standard of rooms varies and there are only a limited number of single rooms; Therefore, rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The number of students entering the

Although it's about 20 minutes by bus from the centre of Katowice, it's located on the edge of a lovely forest and is close to the recreation areas of a park.
