We will discuss Benefits, Miscellaneous Dollars, Balancing Plans, Budget Types, Rounding, FM Terminology, WESPaC Reports, Troubleshooting, and more! Custom Forms and How to Make Them Work for You Human Resources can use Employee Custom Forms to gather data that is not already being collected by the system. Learn how to create a Custom Form and a Custom Screen and assign security groups to the screen. See how data is entered on a Custom Form and how to report on the data using Data Mining. Employee Access Beyond the Basics This session will show users how to get the most out of Employee Access. We will look beyond the basics and discover features that may not have been enabled with a district s implementation of the module. Creating Employee Letters (Contract Documents) The department provides information to employees about their annual contracts/assignments. Learn how to use the Employee Letters report to create contract documents with employee assignment information.

Creating Supplemental Assignments from Base Using WESPaC Utilities Does your district provide supplemental contracts to groups of individuals with data similar to their base data? If so, you may be able to use the base assignments as a beginning process to create assignments instead of manually adjusting old existing assignments or adding them from scratch. EM/SN Salary Calculation Employee Management can be configured to use an enhanced method of calculating Salaries and FTE in Employee Management Plans and Salary Negotiations Plans with greater precision. See how to configure the system to use more precise calculations. Learn about the calculation options that are available at both the Position Control and Assignment level. See how to implement the calculations on assignments and how they work. Take a Deep Dive into the Insurance Tracking Calculation Process This session will dive deep into the all aspects of the Insurance Tracking calculation process. This will include a step by step process of what the calculation does and where the information is pulled from and how this information interacts. Setting Up Online Forms Human Resources can set up Employee Access Online Forms to survey or request information from employees. Online Forms is a relatively new feature that only takes a few steps to set up. Learn how to create an Online Form in conjunction with a Custom Form. This session is suitable for all users. Organizational Charts Creation and Maintenance This session will provide guidance on creation and maintenance of the Org Chart with information on Move/Replace Functionality, Approval Options, Supervisor Employee access Options and True Time Options. Payroll Checklist In this session we will step through the WSIPC Guide to Payroll: Payroll Checklist. This Guide lists all of the steps necessary to complete a payroll, from setting up the data to creating reports and the ACH file after the payroll has been run. Payroll: Selecting Records for Payment The Selection step in the payroll process is crucial to a successful and accurate payroll. In this session we will talk about parameter settings which define the records included in the payroll, settings for dates and other criteria, import processes, and managing and correcting the selected data. Payroll Tax Calculation (2hr session) Are you responsible for troubleshooting challenging payroll calculation issues? This two- hour session is designed for payroll staff who want an advanced knowledge of the elements used to generate payroll figures so that they can troubleshoot difficult payroll tax calculation issues with confidence.

We will cover some troubleshooting ideas and ways to solve problems when things don't work as expected. Keep Your Eye on the Ball - Payroll Encumbrance Processing Districts need to ensure that they are not overspending their approved budget for the fiscal year. Since salary and benefits comprise the largest portion of the budget, it is imperative that districts know what they are spending and projected to spend for the rest of the year. This class will focus on how to set up the Payroll Encumbrance Process in the web and how to monitor payroll/benefit expenditures throughout the year. Check Adjustments: Quick Void, Manual Check, and Void Check Come experience the processes that make correcting payroll check issues easy. You will learn the ins and outs of the Quick Void process, how to create a check adjustment record without creating a physical check, and how to enter in check records for a checks generated outside the Payroll application. [Map of Larch Room Payroll ACH The Payroll ACH is the most efficient way to pay employees. In this session we will look at how the ACH option works with running a Quick Void/Re- Issue. We will also look at how ACH deductions and Pre- notes can be affected by the ACH option in a Quick Void/Re- Issue. Payroll - Entry of Hourly and Supplemental Pay Payroll worksheets greatly simplify the payroll process. This session will include setting up worksheets, options for data entry, and how to verify worksheet totals. Start Your Hiring Process with Position Requests This session will take a look at the Position Request module and how it could fit into your workflow to streamline the request and hiring process. We will discuss implementation considerations, configuration and how to enter and approve requests. The Position Control records will be reviewed along the way and you will see how the FTE is accounted for as we move through the process. The session will conclude by moving the new hire request to Fast Track. Time Off: Advanced Options This session is about getting the most out of your Time Off module. Topics include defaulting Time Off setup for new employees, using the Unpaid options, linking Employee Access time off with your sub calling system, and more. True Time: Bells & Whistles This session will focus on some of the newer features in True Time, including a discussion about tracking comp time. This session will share tips on how to resolve an out- of- balance GL610, as well as some ideas for making balancing easier in the future. Saving Time on Administrative Tasks Finance, This session will provide an overview of the various options that are available to minimize the amount of paper used while conducting business using Skyward software. What's New in Skyward /FM Finance, Come hear about the newest features in /FM from Skyward. This session will provide an overview of new features and basic uses. It's Time for Skyward Spring Cleaning Student,Finance,,Hybrid This session will explore the areas of your Skyward database which may be collecting "dust bunnies". We will explore several utilities and reports which can help with the cleaning of your Skyward database. Besides the Skyward database, the district's Citrix Export directory and review files and folders. Skyward for Building and Program Administrators (2hr session) Student,Finance, This session will cover Skyward basics for building administrators for both Student and Fiscal/ applications. The session will include basic navigation tips, utilizing Employee Access, approving requisitions, budgetary data mining, viewing discipline information, accessing current year class information, Educator Access Plus, Family Access, and Skyward Mobile for both Student and Finance.
