About Groupe INSEEC In 1975 the INSEEC Business School was founded in Bordeaux. Since its creation, the school has developed into a group consisting of 12 French institutions for higher education deepening its commitment to communication and business affairs. Groupe INSEEC now has campuses in: Paris, Bordeaux, Alpes Savie (Chambery), Lyon and Monaco with satellite campuses in London and Chicago. There are roughly 14,400 students studying International Management, Finance, Luxury Brand Communication, Auditing, Marketing, Advertising, and Wine Management, Tourism and Hospitality Management and much more. The flexibility for students and staff to participate to inter-institutional exchanges is an example of INSEEC s innovative strategy to maintain an international environment as well as international network of alumni and professors. Today Groupe INSEEC has a budget of 120 million euro, an alumni network of 38,000 students and is seeking AASCSB accreditation. Moreover, INSEEC Business School is one of the top 15 Business Schools in all of France. For students looking to study abroad in France, Groupe INSEEC is the ideal university. Since its foundation, INSEEC has continued to integrate an international dimension into its academic programs by strengthening its university exchange programs and by providing global internship opportunities. There are now 5 institutions within the group which offer courses taught entirely in English and a local international service dedicated to providing high quality student services as well as increasing and improving the quality of student mobility. The 5 schools are: INSEEC Business ScooI, INSEEC MSc & MBA, INSEEC Bachelor (Paris Business College), INSEEC Communication and Advertising School (Sup de Pub) and INSEEC European School of Commerce (ECE). In accordance with the school, students can choose to study in Paris, Bordeaux, Alpes Savoie (Chambery) and Lyon. Within this guide you will find more information on the current programs open to exchange students, information on the application process and practical information about the different cities. Application procedure All students must apply online. During their application online they must select the school they wish to attend as well as the campus. Students wishing to apply for the spring 2015 semester must register online before the 10 November 2014 (noon CET). In addition to the online application the following documents must be sent by email to: incoming@ inseec.com Official Transcript of records of your past academic years Resume / CV with the students photo Cover letter / motivation letter Copy of student passport or EU ID card Copy of European health insurance card or certificate. Please note: all Non EU students will have to register to the French National Health Insurance System. The estimated cost is 211 EUR. Confirmation Email: The local coordinators from each campus will send a confirmation email to students home university confirming all supporting documents have been well received. Acceptance Letter: European students: the acceptance letter will be sent by email by the end of November. If students need an original acceptance letter for their visa, please send an email to the local coordinator. Non-European students: A copy of the acceptance letter will be sent by email and the original will be sent to the coordinator from your home university. Course Registration: Please note that courses are subject to change. Students will have a two week drop / add period to modify their schedules. No changes will be made after the drop/add period. If you have sufficient knowledge of the French language students can follow alternative programs in French. For more information please the schools website or contact the local coordinator of the school and campus you are interested in. Please note: INSEEC does not administer re-take exams. If a student fails a course, the grade will appear on the official transcript. The only exception to this rule is with the ECE. They allow retake exams. Academic Calendar: Schools and programs may have a different academic calendar. It is important that students read this information very carefully, taking note of the dates which correspond to their program. Orientation days are mandatory. During the orientation students will officially register to the school City Information: Practical information such as estimated cost of living, transportation and accommodations will be sent to the students by the local coordinators. INSEEC Business School Paris, Bordeaux and Alpes-Savoie INSEEC Business School is the most prestigious school within Groupe INSEEC, holding the French national accreditation of Grande École de Commerce. Students wishing to study at INSEEC Business School can choose to study in Paris, Bordeaux or Aples Savoie in the city of Chambery. Each campus offers a unique program and a different experience. For students wishing to study International Management in a European capital, the Paris campus has a lot to offer. Paris is a large city with roughly 2.2 million people. There are many monuments, museums, theaters and a bustling nightlife. Paris offers undergraduate and graduate courses. The INSEEC Paris campus also has specialized MSc and MBA programs Students wishing to study within a traditional French city are encouraged to take courses in Bordeaux. Bordeaux is a port city situated in the southern part of France. It is the 9th largest city in franc and a one hour drive to the seaside. As it is also home to the famous French Bordeaux wines, we offer courses in Wine and Spirits Management which are taught in English and open to international students. Bordeaux can welcome graduate or undergraduate students. For the nature lovers, the Alpes Savoie campus is for you. The city of Chambery is located in the southern part of the French Rhône-Alpes. During the winter months students can take full advantage of the mountainous regions and notable ski stations. During the warmer months students can go hiking, enjoy water sports on Lac Bourget or take a day trip to Geneva. On the Chambéry campus students can attend undergraduate and graduate level courses. There is also a special program in Tourism and Hospitality Management. ECE, European School of Commerce Lyon and Bordeaux (INSEEC) European School of Commerce (ECE) is a business school with a 4 year postsecondary program. The ECE offers high-level courses in business and management. Students may study exclusively in English or build a schedule with courses taught in both French and English. The ECE has campuses in Bordeaux and Lyon. Students studying in either city will get a traditional French experience. Bordeaux is a port city situated in the southern part of France. It is the 9th largest city in franc and a one hour drive to the seaside. Lyon is a well-known city for banking. It is located in eastcentral France in the Rhône-Alpes region, situated between Paris and Marseille. It also now hosts the headquarters of Interpol, Euronews and International Agency for Research on Cancer.
