Directory of Mental Health Services For Residents of Yancey County Revised January 14, 2011 Printed with the generous support of...

Dear Community Member, In response to your requests, we have created this directory of mental health services for Yancey County. We have tried to make it as comprehensive as possible but it is a difficult task to keep up with all of the changes in the mental health system. If you are not finding what you are looking for, we encourage you to call Western Highlands Network at 1-800-671-6560, or visit www.westernhighlands.org. They are a great resource for navigating the mental health system. We will keep an updated version of this directory on our website at www.healthyyancey.org. If you know of any services that should be included or that are no longer available, please contact us at 828-682-7899 or email gchs@trhd.dst.nc.us so that we can update the directory. We are working hard to keep our community a healthy one. Mental health is an important component in the overall health of our community. We hope this guide is helpful as you seek out various services. In Good Health, The 2010 Healthy Yancey Steering Committee Directory of Mental Health Services for Residents of Yancey County Page 2
