Reports Within a solution First Data provides powerful reporting package which contains following reports required for successful e-commerce business management: Payments report - Reports Transactions processed by First Data PGW and related reversals (if any) Chargeback report - Report lists all chargebacks and MC Arbitration chargebacks received by First Data and related payment information. Representment report - report lists all representments submitted by First Data and related payment information. Retrieval request report - report lists all document requests received by First Data and related payment information. Pre-Arbitration/Arbitration report - report lists all VISA Pre-Arbitration and Arbitration received by First Data and related payment information. Pre-Compliance/Compliance or Good faith reports- report lists all Pre-Compliance and, Compliance and Good faith received by First Data and related payment information. Fraud Transaction report - report lists all Transactions reported as fraudulent by issuers to card schemes using MasterCard SAFE or Visa TC40 systems Implementation For successful solution implementation First Data provides PSP with solution specification assigns implementation project manager, dedicates test environment and during implementation project provides initial PSP training. Technology Transactions processing high level description: a. Single message transactions i. 1st step PSP registers payment information and PGW assigns payment ID ii. 2nd step Payment gateway authorizes payment and if successful captures payment for clearing b. Dual message transactions i. 1st step PSP registers payment and payment gateway assigns payment ID ii. 2nd step PSP provides full payment information and payment gateway authorizes transaction iii. 3rd step PSP requests completion of transaction and payment gateway captures transaction for financial processing c. Payment cancelation Payment Cancellation can be used to cancel DMS authorization (2nd step) before payment is submitted. Payment Cancellation initiates authorization reversal and releases blocked funds held on cardholder account d. Payment information Returns payment details and status for Payment ID. It is possible to use this function within 90 days of original transaction. e. Transaction reversal Full and partial reversals are supported. Reversal can be requested also for Refund Transaction (resulting in debit to cardholder account). Reversal (partial reversal) can be requested only one time per original request/transaction. Service creates online reversal, which is sent online to issuer and returns blocked funds on cardholder account immediately and processed for clearing; or offline reversal which is NOT sent online to issuer and is only processed for clearing. Offline reversal does not release authorization holds on cardholder account in on line mode but only after issuer bank has processed received transactions. f. Refund transaction Refund Transaction enables payment service provider to issue credit to cardholders. This option does not involve reference to original transaction. Refund transaction flow consists of two requests: i. 1st step PSP registers payment information and payment gateway assigns payment ID ii. 2nd step payment gateway captures refund for clearing
g. Reconciliation message PSP shall request reconciliation service for each merchant ID at least once a day at a time agreed with First Data. Reconciliation service initiates processing of captured transactions for clearing h. 3DS MPI If merchant has chosen to use 3DS then merchant system must complete 3D authentication (3D Secure / UCAF) prior sending request to First Data via SOAP Interface for secure e-commerce transactions requirement does not apply to unsecure e-commerce, Refund/Reversal, MOTO or recurring transactions.
