Houston Metro Light Rail / Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Houston Value: $7 million annually Project Description: VTMI provides project development and construction oversight for the Design/Build LRT project of 12.5 miles of new structures, systems, and oversaw the procurement of 58 new vehicles. MARTA Rail and Tie Rehabilitation (TR3) / Atlanta Value: $16 million Project Description: VTMI is replacing 155,000 linear feet of mainline curved rail and rehabilitating 105 yard turnouts including tie and track component replacement as needed. This includes over 7,000 new switch ties being installed, grade crossing installations, and drainage upgrades. Perris Valley Commuter Line / Riverside County Transportation Commission Value: $29 million annually Project Description: VTMI is constructing all track-related components of the Perris Valley commuter line extension project, acting as a subcontractor to Ames Construction. The project is a 24-mile extension to the Metrolink commuter rail system running from the City of Riverside to the City of Perris. New Orleans Streetcar, Operations & Maintenance / New Orleans Regional Transit Authority Value: $8 million Project Description: Under a unique public-private operating partnership, Transdev North America operates a 24-mile streetcar system, transporting 6.6 million passengers annually. Our management services include operations, maintenance, marketing, communications, planning, grant management and infrastructure. We collaborated with our client to secure Federal Funds for a new expansion on Loyola Avenue which generated $2.7 billion in new development, and a major expansion is now underway in the French Quarter. Metrolink Maintenance, Los Angeles / Southern California Regional Rail Authority Value: $90 million six-year contract Project Description: VTMI provides maintenance of way services employing a workforce of 66 employees and a full-time management staff to maintain 5 different subdivisions consisting of over 388 miles of track, structures, and right of way. Services include track maintenance and rehabilitation, structures and bridge maintenance and repair, weed abatement, herbicide spraying, flagging, RWP training, safety compliance, graffiti removal and fence repair.
