What is SSLPost Cloud? SSLPost Cloud is a simple and cost effective method with which to encrypt your email and file attachments. It also allows you to accurately track and trace your email, informs you when it has arrived and when it has been opened by the recipient. 2013 SSLPost Page 3 of 31 support@sslpost.com

Why do I need SSLPost Cloud? Sending documents via traditional post using recorded or registered delivery can cost hundreds of pounds per year. Add to that the cost of printing and sending someone to mail it and you are still left wondering if it has arrived with your desired recipient! If the email contains information that is sensitive or confidential, SSLPost Cloud allows you to encrypt the information with just one click so that it can only be opened by the intended recipient. The track and trace facility allows you to monitor the email's transit to the point of opening 2013 SSLPost Page 4 of 31 support@sslpost.com

What do I need to use SSLPost Cloud? SSLPost Cloud only requires an Internet browser and an email client. 2013 SSLPost Page 5 of 31 support@sslpost.com

Which Internet browsers are compatible with SSLPost Cloud? SSLPost Cloud has been tested with all major browsers. 2013 SSLPost Page 6 of 31 support@sslpost.com

Which email clients are compatible with SSLPost Cloud? SSLPost Cloud has been tested with all major email clients including Microsoft Outlook, Yahoo Mail, Evolution, Microsoft Hotmail, Zimbra, Mail.com and Google Gmail. 2013 SSLPost Page 7 of 31 support@sslpost.com

Do I need an email address? Yes. You need an email address to activate your SSLPost Cloud account and receive secure emails. 2013 SSLPost Page 8 of 31 support@sslpost.com

Do I need to change my email address? No, SSLPost Cloud works with all the major email clients. 2013 SSLPost Page 9 of 31 support@sslpost.com

Where is SSLPost Cloud hosted? SSLPost Cloud is hosted in the UK. 2013 SSLPost Page 10 of 31 support@sslpost.com

Where is my email stored? Your email is stored on your server and the server of your recipient only. We do not store any of your email content unless you require us to do so via special arrangement. Please contact customerservice@sslpost.com if you would like to discuss this option. 2013 SSLPost Page 11 of 31 support@sslpost.com

Is SSLPost Cloud ISO Accredited? Yes. SSLPost Cloud has an ISO 27001 certificate, following an intensive 3rd party audit. 2013 SSLPost Page 12 of 31 support@sslpost.com

How secure is SSLPost Cloud? SSLPost Cloud uses a mix of block and transport encryption processes. Secure Socket Layers (SSL) are used with a 256-bit key to encrypt communication from the sender to our servers (most credit card transactions only use 128-bit encryption). On our servers we encrypt using block encryption, which uses a combination of 256-bit symmetric and 2048-bit asymmetric processes. This is sent to the recipient over normal email (i.e. smtp). Decrypted content is only made available over a 256-bit SSL secure link. 2013 SSLPost Page 13 of 31 support@sslpost.com

That sounds complicated, is it? The technology is complex and that's what makes it so effective. The user interface (what you and your clients will see) is easy to use and clear. 2013 SSLPost Page 14 of 31 support@sslpost.com

Is there are maximum file size I can send? You can send an email with a maximum file size of 2Gb. 2013 SSLPost Page 15 of 31 support@sslpost.com

Is there a limit to the number of emails I can send securely? SSLPost Cloud is designed for fair and reasonable use. It allows you to send up to 6000 secure emails per year. We monitor the amount of emails that are sent and will notify you when your limit is approaching. 2013 SSLPost Page 16 of 31 support@sslpost.com

Do I need a digital certificate? No. SSLPost Cloud uses a password as the primary authentication method, thus eliminating the certificate distribution issues which occur in many similar systems. 2013 SSLPost Page 17 of 31 support@sslpost.com

Does the person I am sending to require an SSLPost Cloud account? The person you are sending the message to will be automatically set up with a free account. They will automatically receive a Welcome email that requests them to complete a quick and simple registration and to set up a password. This is a one-off set up that takes very little time to complete. For more information please refer to the sign up & activation guide for further information: 2013 SSLPost Page 18 of 31 support@sslpost.com

Can the recipient send SSLPost Cloud emails to anyone on their contacts list? If the recipient has not purchased an SSLPost Cloud licence, the recipient can respond to your email only. However, if they wish to send secure emails to other people on their contacts list, they can quickly and simply purchase a licence using this website. 2013 SSLPost Page 19 of 31 support@sslpost.com

How long does it take to open a secure email attachment? Opening a secure email attachment normally takes seconds. However, this depends on the size of the attachment and the speed of your internet connection. 2013 SSLPost Page 20 of 31 support@sslpost.com

How do I contact the Support Team? Call 0906 776 7766 or email customerservice@sslpost.com. Calls from landlines will be charged at 1.02 per minute, calls from mobile may be higher. 20 Can I send attachments and will they be secured? Yes, you can send attachments of any type via SSLPost Cloud, securely. 2013 SSLPost Page 22 of 31 support@sslpost.com

Can I cancel a sent message? Yes, SSLPost Cloud provides a revocation facility. To cancel a sent message log into your SSLPost Cloud account and under ' Sent Messages' select ' Update Settings' to change the Seal status of a message. A revoked message cannot then be decoded. You may only revoke access effectively if the email has not been opened by the recipient. All further attempts to access the email following revocation will be unsuccessful. 24 How does the recipient decode an encrypted message? This second email will instruct them to click a decode button and enter in their unique password (please note, the recipient will only receive a Welcome Email the very first time they are sent a secure message via SSLPost Cloud). For more information please review the receiving secure emails guide. 2013 SSLPost Page 26 of 31 support@sslpost.com
