GENERAL INFORMATION ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS All students participating in the FFA Agriculture Contests must be bona fide FFA members, currently enrolled as agriculture education students and meet all enrollment and/or certification of eligibility requirements. TEAM TROPHIES AND INDIVIDUAL MEDALS On April 7, 2015, the results of individual contests will be announced beginning at @ 2:30 P.M. in the Fletcher Auditorium. Each contest, except Rangeland, will be divided into two divisions: (1) In-district (2) Overall The top three teams in each contest (In-district and Overall) will receive an award. The top three individuals in each contest of both divisions will receive high individual awards. The FFA Chapter, which accumulates the most points within each division, will receive the sweepstakes award. Placing high in several contests can accumulate these points. Rangeland contest teams will only receive overall plaques. SCHOLARSHIPS Each senior who is high individual overall in any of the contests will be eligible for a tuition waiver to MSC which will cover up to sixteen hours of tuition costs for the 2015-2016 academic year, provided they meet entry and financial aid requirements. A student receiving this scholarship must take at least 12 credit hours at Murray State College. DISQUALIFICATION A contest team will be disqualified if a coach or his assistant enters the tabulation room(s) before the official contest results are posted unless prior permission is obtained from a contest official. Agronomy Contest 7:30 A. M. Joe Bob Wright, Afton Shawn Murphy, Covington-Douglas Location: MSC Faculty Lounge (Student Union) Electricity 7:30 A.M. Dr. Carl Rousey, MSC Dustin McLemore-Spiro Location: Library Science Bldg. (LS) 108 & 113 Agricultural Shop - 7:30 A.M. (Modified for 2015) Jody House, MSC Location: Administration Bldg. (AD) 216/ Engingeering Bldg. The contest is limited to a maximum of 4 contestants per school. Only one team per school. This contest is structured from the State FFA Interscholastic Meet. Only the top ten (10) teams and the top five (5) individuals (if not on a team) based on written test and tool ID results will weld. Helmets and gloves will not be provided

Land Judging 7:30 A.M. Allen Oliver, NRCS Location: South of Rodeo Arena Jr. Livestock Judging 7:30 A.M. Blaine Red, MSC Location: College Farm This contest will consist of 4 contestants ONLY. Only one team per school. Eight classes will be judged consisting of beef, sheep, goats and swine. Each contestant will give two sets of reason over market classes. The 3 highest scores from contestants A-D will equal the team 8-10 th Grade Only. Sr. Livestock Judging 7:30 A.M. Blaine Red, MSC Location: College Farm This contest will consist of 4 contestants ONLY. Only one team per school. Eight classes will be judged consisting of beef, sheep, goats and swine. Each contestant will give three sets of reason over two market classes and a performance beef class. The 3 highest scores from contestants A-D will equal the team 11-12 th Grade. Soil & Water Conservation 7:30 A.M. Sherman Cox, Spiro Location: Library Science Bldg. (LS) 111 All teams must provide their own farm level, rod and tripod. Meats Evaluation 7:30 A.M. B.T. The 3 highest scores from contestants A-D will equal the team Only overall awards will be given. No In-District awards. Animal Science Quiz Bowl 7:30 A.M. Ginger Cothran, MSC Location: Administration Bldg. (AD) 211 & 215 A team will consist of (4) contestants. Only one team per school. The contest will be conducted according to State FFA rules. Plaques will be provided top three overall teams. Agriculture Communications 7:30 A.M. Amber Atteberry, Tishomingo Michelle Harper, Madill Location: Classroom Bldg. (CR) 201 & 204
