Postsecondary CTE Participation and Preparation (2006 2007) 55,131 students enrolled in CTE courses in postsecondary 3,596 community college students completed/exit a CTE program 3,727 students out of 4,835 (77%) continued their education, entered the workforce, or the military upon leaving postsecondary schools (2005 2006)

Secondary CTE Participation and Preparation (2006 2007) 119,865 students enrolled in CTE courses in high school Nearly half (44%) of all high school students enroll in CTE courses 15,040 high school students completed a CTE program of study (26% of graduating class) 51% of CTE graduates also completed course requirements for admission to the University System of Maryland (in 1993 it was only 14%) 76% of CTE graduates were in college, working or in the military 2 quarters following graduation (data limited to Maryland colleges)
