Offshore Wind Project Management (OWPM) Experts by Experience! The European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) has set itself the target to generate 40 GW of energy from wind by 2020. This implies an annual growth of almost 30% for the coming ten years. Europe is currently market leader in the area of wind energy. Europe and the Netherlands hence have ample opportunities in the areas of technology, commerce, employment and export. Furthermore, The Netherlands is second to none in expertise on wind energy. GOAL OF THE The aim of this course is to give the participants with different backgrounds the insight and knowledge of the basic principles of the development, construction and operational phase of offshore wind farms. This will lead to more professionalism in their jobs. Recognition of the common aspects encountered during the construction and operational phase will ultimately lead to a more integral technical and financial design in the early stages of the development phase. This, in turn, will reduce the total cost of the design, the building and the running costs of the project. TARGET AUDIENCE The course is intended for employees from the technical, commercial, SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED THE. AND THEN? After you have followed the course, you can: financial and legal departments, including managerial representatives. The intended sectors include construction, developers, finance, government and maintenance.
