LEED - Hyperpower Maintenance Facilities P3 Group Bernard Paul-Hus 954-978-9300 $1,811,135 BUILDING TYPE: Commerical - LEED Project Description: This facility was built in the City of Pompano Beach and is the First LEED certified project for the city. This brand new 11,900 SF Facility was built on a 4.5 acre site and is the new Storage and Truck Maintenance yard for HYPOWER. The site will have 125,509 SF of concrete, in lieu of asphalt, 70,000 SF of Green area with native species to limit the use of well water. Two, 2 story, steel buildings were erected, and building 1 has 5,184 watts and building 2 has 5,390 watts dedicated to solar energy (PV) systems while the remaining portion of the roof is finished with a high SRI painting which will limit heat absorption. When you take into account all of the building integrated PV systems, energy efficient lighting, daylight harvesting technology, & high SEER HVAC units; these buildings have significantly reduced their annual power bill as compared to a similar non-leed building. Moroso Motorsports park Project Description: The uniqueness of this project is due to its history. Palm Beach International Raceway as it was known in the 1960 s was purchased by Dick Moroso from David Rupp in the 1980 s and renamed Moroso Motorsports Park. In 1968 Dick Moroso was known as one of the most successful modified production drag racers on record. The purchase of the property enabled him to establish a drag strip for local fans. Located on over 200 acres of wooded property in northwest Palm Beach County, the Motorsports Park is known for catering to the motorsports enthusiasts hosting more than 850 events annually. Palm Springs Middle School CM for project - cr. klewin Project Description As Construction Manager, CR Klewin, and its M/WBE CM partner, Lebolo Construction, worked closely with the owner and design team during the preconstruction planning phases to assure the project met schedule and budgetary requirements. This project consisted of a 203,000 SF, 1 and 2-story, tilt-wall and steel construction. Phase 1 - partial demolition of existing campus buildings and locating 23 new portables on site and beginning construction of the 3 new buildings. In addition, a temporary covered walk was constructed to provide access to the existing campus from the bus loop. Phases 2 & 3 - electrical and chiller work and the renovation of the kitchen portion in building 2. Phase 4 - demolition of the existing buildings with the exception of the gymnasium that remained in service until the new facility was completed. Primary Care Medical Office Project Description This project was an Interior Build out Tenant Improvement for a new 5,200 square feet high end Medical Office in a multi-tenant building in the city of Boynton Beach. Two contiguous spaces were turned into one bigger space by demolishing all interior partitions, demising wall and all interior finishes including any related mechanical, electrical or plumbing work, to leave it a shell ready to accommodate the approved floor plan and receive all finishes. All ceiling, wall and floor finishes as well as the cabinetry and counter tops for the business center, examination rooms, laboratory and in general, for all spaces, were chosen by the owners of the finest quality and of first class materials to satisfy also their fine clientele. Del Mar Village Project Description This project was a complete façade renovation project of a strip mall in Boca Raton that included the complete demolition of the existing façade and structural steel modifications required to build a new three level towers with standing seam metal roof. Intracoastal Mall Project Description This project consisted of the complete demolition of the existing façade and breezeway structure of the eastern section of the Intracoastal Mall in North Miami, to make it wider by extending it into the parking area and completely renovate the façade, stucco and bandings, of a two story out parcel, adding a second means of egress to the second floor by adding an exterior metal stair. ROYAL PALM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROJECT PROFILE Project Description Partnering with CR Klewin, the team completed approximately 146,00 GSF replacement facility to accommodate 564 K-12 student stations. The replacement facility will be constructed on the current site followed by demolition of the existing facility, construction of playfields and auxiliary facilities. This contract was completed in 3 phases: Phase I consists of the construction of temporary drives, parking and a temporary bus loop. Also included is the permanent construction of the west staff and visitor parking, the parent dropoff, new drainage and retention, sidewalks and covered walk and drop-off Areas. The building construction consists of Building 1 & 2 entirely and approximately 25% of Building 3; the relocation of (2) hard surfaced play areas and associated equipment; the service court and drive; and the new chiller building.
