Chris Stoner, Microcomputer Supervisor Lynda Chen, Microcomputer Supervisor Microcomputer Supervisors manage all work performed by 14 Micro Techs and are second tier support both in buildings and for the Helpdesk. The Supervisors also coordinate the planning, testing and implementation of all desktop software and hardware upgrades, plan desktop deployments and collaborate with the Director and Specialists on technical issues and new technical initiatives.

Microcomputer Technicians (14 FTE) perform all deployments, hardware and software troubleshooting and maintenance on MMSD s 8,700 desktop computers in all 46 schools, 2 admin buildings and alternative sites and for the BOE, as well as perform trouble-shooting and maintenance on all computer printers and peripherals. Micro Techs also staff the MMSD Technical Services Helpdesk and assist in the planning, testing and implementation of all desktop software and hardware upgrades and manage user rights assignments on building-level file servers. Vicky Woider, Technology & Library Support Technician helps maintain all data backup and archive systems, performs network and server trouble-shooting, manages all Division purchasing and assists others throughout the District with technical purchases, serves as lead for AS400 production printing, provides 2nd tier support for Helpdesk staff on desktop hardware and software issues, manages MMSD s electronic library data and trains library staff on library automation software. Denny Griffin, Computer Operator, assists with AS400 server management and assists with all AS400 production printing, manages AS400 server backup systems and performs network and server trouble-shooting.
