TACKLING THE SKILLS CHALLENGE The National Skills Academy for Food and Drink Manufacturing has been designed to provide the food and drink industry with the training it needs to develop the skills of employees to drive the productivity and competitiveness of the sector. What is the National Skills Academy for Food and Drink Manufacturing? Provides easy access to training courses through the Academy website 6. Gives advice on fair pricing for training, whether funding is available and if so, how to access it comprehensive portfolio of training courses matched to food and drink industry needs nationwide quality assured easy to access.

Changing regulatory and legislative requirements, increased pressure from consumers and retailers, and increased automation, all place demands on the skills of the UK food and drink workforce. The National Skills Academy for Food and Drink Manufacturing is designed to provide the food and drink industry with the training it needs to develop the skills of employees to drive the productivity and competitiveness of the sector. It provides access to up-to-date, relevant, quality training to meet the needs of the industry and ensures that we remain productive and competitive in the world economic market.
