7 th Senftenberger Innovationsforum Multiparameteranalytik April 18 19, 2013 Hochschule Lausitz (FH) Senftenberg Scientific Exhibition Presentation of Demonstrators from Science AKLIDES Platform Technology The AKLIDES system is a platform technology for the multiplex diagnostics using digital multi-color immunofluorescence. It represents the world's first system for the automatic and objective analysis of immunofluorescence testing in routine diagnostics. There also exists an application for the automatic determination of DNA double-strand breaks via γh2ax foci. Fraunhofer ivd-platform The ivd-platform is a system, which enables measurements of diagnostic parameters directly at the patient's bedside. The system contains a credit card-sized cartridge and a base-unit. For usage, a drop of blood has to be applied to the cartridge, which will then be inserted into the base unit. After 15 minutes the results are displayed, enabling a fast therapeutic decision. Ne[X]D-System The ne[x]d Project resembles an automated Lab-on-a-Chip system for molecular diagnostics of infectious diseases. The system consists of a small size processing device and a microfluidic-based disposable cartridge which integrates the whole sample processing chain from sample extraction and amplification to final pathogen detection. A proof of the entire concept was shown for detection of Neisseria/Chlamydia infections and MRSA infections.
VideoScan Technology VideoScan 1.1 is a highly versatile fluorescence microscopic platform for the multiplex real-time detection of biomolecules. Currently, up to 8 cavities can be used for tracking of changes under dynamic heating conditions, which makes it a useful tool for multiplex PCR applications, nucleic acid hybridization and melting curve analysis. www.bioresponse.de/etechnologien.htm Poland as Partner in Research and Development DNA Research Center Ltd.
