We recommend that you choose this option after your course is done. Otherwise, your course will be blocking the Forward button every time you try to preview it. 7) Save your options. 8) Click Next to proceed. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 20
Choosing a Logo If you choose to add a logo, you will be taken to this page, where you will need to upload a new logo or select one from your Asset library. 1) First, take a look at the recommended size for the image. 2) Click Browse to search for the logo. When the pop up opens, fill out the fields to search for your logo in the Asset library. 1) Logos must be Images. 2) Choose one or more Categories. 3) Fill out the fields with Width and Height of the logo. 4) Choose an Exhibition mode.* 5) Fill out the Description. 6) Click on Search. Then, fill out the same fields as the Asset Search and: 1) Browse for the file in your computer 2) Click Save. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 22
Step 3: Palettes The third step consists of choosing a color scheme for your course. 1) Choose a color scheme for your Frame. 2) Choose a color scheme for your Scenes. 3) Save your choices. 4) Click Next to proceed. There are basic color schemes, but we can build one specifically for your License, if needed. Step 5: Characters First of all, you can choose to have characters in your course or not. It is not mandatory to use characters and we don t advise their use for all types of training. However, they can be very engaging and useful in many situations, especially for selfstudies. 1) If you would like to add a character to your course click on Add. 2) If you don t want to add characters, to proceed, click on Next. You will see all characters that are available for your account. They will be in grayscale but don t worry - you will be adding color afterwards. 1) Select the Characters you want to use in your course. 2) Confirm your selection. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 24
Now, all you have to do is confirm your options. You will see a screen with the characters you have chosen and then you will be able to: 1) Change your decision and Remove a character. 2) Add other characters. 3) Or click Next to proceed. Quick Tip Remember that you will always be allowed to go back to the Style tab at any time and change all of your choices. If you remove a character that is already in use, we advise that you review your course and switch the old character for the new one on each Scene. The character that has been deleted will appear in grayscale so it will be easier for you to indentify and edit your Scene. The last thing you will have to do in this fifth step is to set the colors of your characters. There are preset palettes for each character, but you will also be able to create new color palettes if you wish. You can customize skin and outfit colors, though. If you wish to create a special character, contact support@quicklessons.com. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 25
1) Choose a Palette to add some color to your character. 2) Preview the character by clicking on the magnifying glass. 3) If you have more than one character added to the course, click on the Arrow to configure the next one. 4) You can also create a New palette for a character. 5) Save your changes. 6) Click on Next to proceed. And that s it. You have created the whole visual aspect of your course with only 5 steps. Now you can start building your course s structure and content. But first, you will be able to Preview* the result or Finish the Style settings. *This is a Preview example, after setting the Style. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 26
Creating the Course Tree After you create a Course or Learning Object, you will notice that your screen will be divided in two. To the right side of the screen, the system will invite you to set the style for your project. After you are done with setting a Style, you will notice that the left side of your screen will reload and will add the Resources that were added to your Course Tree. Your Course Tree is the structure of your project and it is graphically represented on the left side of your screen whenever your project is open. Through this Tree you will add the elements of your course such as Levels, Scenes, Exercises, Question Pool, Evaluation and Quizzes. In this side image, you can see: 1) The Name of your course highlighted in blue. 2) The Resources added in the Style section. Whenever there is an element in your Tree highlighted in blue, it means that it is selected and it is probably being edited. In this case, the course is highlighted because its Metadata is being edited. Quick Tip To build your Tree, you can either use the icons on the Main Navigation Menu or use Shortcuts which are always faster and easier. To use shortcuts to build a Tree, right-click on the item and it will open a menu with all the available choices for editing. This Guide will mostly use shortcuts to illustrate actions and procedures. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 27
Adding Levels Levels are the sections of your course. They are like chapters, lessons and topics of a book. They will structure your course according to your course s content. To add Levels, simply follow these two steps: 1) Right-click on the Name of the course. 2) After the menu opens, click on the Add Level option. Then, after viewing this page: 1) Write the Title of the level you want to add. 2) Write the Learning Objectives of this level in the field Objective. 3) Save your level. The Objective field is not mandatory. It is just a way to organize your couse a little better and keep track of the Learning Objectives in your course. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 28
After you have saved your new level, it will be added to your Course Tree see highlight on the image to the side. Afterwards, you can add as many levels as you want. To add a sublevel, you should repeat the process, right-clicking on the level to which you want to add a sublevel. Deleting Levels The procedure to delete a Level is very similar to creating a Level. You can either use a shortcut or the Main Navigation Menu the end result is the same. Take a look below at the procedures using the shortcut menu. 1) Right-click on the Level you want to delete. 2) Select the Delete option. After viewing the screen below, click on Confirm to delete the level. When deleting Levels, everything positioned inside it will be excluded. So, if you do not wish to lose information, be sure to drag and drop all elements to a new position on the Course Tree. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 29
Take a look at an example of a standard Tree for a course: 1) Introduction 2) Units 3) Lessons 4) Evaluation 5) Conclusion This is only an example. In reality the Tree is going to depend a lot on the content you have on hand. Quick Tip You can have as many levels and sublevels as you want and organize your content as you like. If you want to reorganize the structure, just click on the level, drag and drop it to where you want. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 30
Creating Content There are a few easy steps you will have to do to add educational content to your course. First, you will have to create a Scene and choose a template. Then, you will have to insert your content inside the textboxes and it s done. Adding New Scenes To add a new Scene to your course, you must: 1) Right-click on the level to which you want to add a new Scene. 2) After the menu appears, select the Add Scene option. You can also add Scenes right below the course s level, by right-clicking on the course s name. On the right side of the screen you will see the Template Library and some features to help you pick a template. 1) To do a quick search, insert the Number of the template. 2) Click on Search. You will see the result right away. 3) Use Advanced search for a more precise search using filters. 4) These are the Categories of templates. Click to view the templates. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 31
When you open a Category, you will see all the templates available for that group. Here you can: 1) Preview it, clicking on the magnifying glass. 2) Click on the Thumbnail to see a larger version. 3) Click Select to choose. Elements of a Template Example 1 This is an example of the template chosen in the previous screen, but filled with content. There are three elements in this template: 1) The character and its action. 2) The speech bubble with the character s speech*. 3) Bullets (items) with other information. *You can also add audio to all characters and backgrounds. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 32
The templates are dynamic. In this case, the Items are an object of Repetition and you can set how many you want in your screen. There is a limit of repetitions to fit the screen. Also, all the textboxes adapt themselves according to how much text you insert. It is a matter of adding content, previewing it and adjusting, if necessary. Example 2 Here is another example of a simple template*. Take a look at these elements: 1) Text box which you will fill in with introductory information. 2) One media - that can be a.jpg image or Flash animation. *You will also be able to add background audio to this template. 3) Important text box which you will fill with complementary important information. Editing a template 1) After adding a Scene and selecting a template, you will see the Scene you created on the Course Tree, on the left side of the sceen. 2) On the right, you will see an interface in which you will Edit your Scene. 3) You can click on Change if you want to change your template. You will lose all inserted information. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 33
Be sure to paste all your text in a document editor before changing templates so you don t lose anything. Editing Example 1 First of all, you need to know that all templates have their own instructions and they can be saved and previewed at all times. The screen to the right shows where those features are located in the interface: 1) Click Save to save your changes. 2) Click Preview to see how your Scene looks at this point. Quick Tip Everytime you Preview a screen it will automatically be Saved. That way, you won t have to save your editing work all the time. 3) If you are not familiar with the template, click Instructions to get help. In Example 1, in order to edit the template: 4) First, you will need to Browse for a Character. You will see the characters chosen in Style. 5) Then, fill the textbox with your character s speech. 6) You can minimize or maximize the textbox to get a better view of your text. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 34
Since all templates are Flash-based, the text might not always look the same on screen as they look in the textbox. We recommend that you occasionally Preview and adjust your work when necessary. Try to make your Scene look the best by using the textbox controls, such as alignments, colors and sizes. Browsing For a Character When clicking on Browse, you will see a pop up screen with the characters you have chosen for your course. Next, you will have to: 1) Select the one you want to appear on that screen. 2) Choose an Action. All characters have their own set of actions. 3) Click Confirm to validate your choice. After this procedure, you will be able to change characters and actions as many times you want by clicking on Browse again. If your account has a customized character in your License, it can have other actions rather than just the default ones. In this example, the character is going to have an idea on the left side of the screen. Speech Bubbles Every time there is a speech textbox to be filled out, you will encounter three options for the action of the bubble in that Scene. Normally, we recommend you not to hide the speech because the student might miss valuable information. However, depending on your content, the following options may work for what you need. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 35
1) You can set the speech bubble so it will always appear on the screen. 2) You can hide the bubble after the Narration ends. 3) And you can also set a Time (in seconds) to hide the speech bubble. Textboxes with Repetitions When you have an object with Repetitions it means you will have to choose how many times this element will repeat itself in the Scene. 1) Choose a Repetition number. 2) Click on Update. 3) You will be asked to Save all information. If you have already done that, click OK. 4) If the scene is unsaved, Cancel, Save it and start again If you don t Save your Scene before updating, all data will be lost. In Example 1, the dynamic objects are bullets and you will set how many you need. For instance, when you chose five repetitions and update the screen, the textbox will replicate five times. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 36
Adding Narration and Background Audio When selecting a template that contains a character, you will be able to add an audio file for Narration. Also, in all templates you will be able to add background sound. 1) Click on Browse to search for a narration in your audio library or add a new one. 2) Click on Browse to add a background sound to the Scene. 3) You can set the Volume. 4) And an Execution mode. Blocking Forward Button At the end of each edition interface, you can make some choices in terms of navigation. 1) Click if you want to Block until the student accesses the whole content of the page. 2) Choose a period of Time in which the button will be blocked. 3) Click here not to block this button. 4) Preview to see the result of your edited screen. In the Style tab, you have the possibility of blocking the Forward button throughout the whole course. In each Scene you will also be able to make an exception and set it differently from the default setting. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 37
Final Result of Example 1 Editing Example 2 The template shown in Example 2 is as simple as the first one. There are some items in common, such as as textboxes. As always, you can go to Instructions and take a look at the directions on how to edit the template. In this case, we have a media textbox which can be a.jpg image or swf animation and another textbox for important information. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 38
Take a look at the image to the right, which represents the template instructions. 1) First, fill textbox1 with introductory content for this template. 2) Notice that the textbox has been maximized for better viewing. Quick Tip Althought you might have set a default text style for your course, don t forget to use the textbox features to resize, recolor and realign your text. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 39
3) Fill out the Importantbox1 with important information. 4) Notice that a link has been added to the text. There is an Add Link feature on the textbox and you can set the link to open a New Page so the student does not have to leave the course. 5) Next, you will have to add media* to the template. Since the space is limited, an Illustration would be a better fit. However, you could also insert an animation (swf). 6) To select a media file, click on Browse. 7) There is always a Recommended Size in pixels. You can always try other sizes and Preview it to see how it looks. *Learn more about media and Asset management in the Managing Assets section in this Guide. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 40

Adding and Deleting Learning Objects to Courses Adding Learning Objects Learning Objects are little parts of information that can be reused in courses. For example: if you have content that you know you will use in other courses, you can create a Learning Object. That way, when you create your course, you can add the object where you want it to appear. As you have seen in the Creating Courses and Learning Objects sections of this Guide, the first prerogative when adding a Learning Object to a course is to have it Published. If the Learning Object is not Published, then you will not be able to track it and add it to your course. When a new Learning Object is created, you can access it through QuickLessons Main Console at the My Learning Objects section or use the Open link, on the Start Menu. After that, it is very simple to add a Learning Object to a course. You can add a Learning Object to anywhere you want in your course. In this case, the example shows a Learning Object added inside a Level. Just follow the procedures below. 1) First, right-click on the Level to where you want to place the Learning Object. 2) Then, select the option Add Learning Object. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 47
After this form opens: 3) Insert the Title of the Learning Object or any other information that can help you track it. 4) Then, click Search to view the results. When you see the results for the Search, you can: 5) Click on the Title of the object to add it to your course. 6) See the Details registered in the Metadata. 7) Go Back to search again. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 48
Take a look at how the Learning Object was added directly to the selected Level. After the Learning Object is added to your course, you will be able to manage the Scenes and edit them without modifying the original Object. It becomes a part of your course. If you have characters in your Learning Object that don t match the ones in your course, they will appear in grayscale and you will have to adjust the Scenes and change the characters and actions. Again, you cannot set Styles for your Learning Objects. However, by adding a Learning Object to a course, it will automatically gain the Style of the course it has been added to. See the example below. The example is of a Learning Object screen adapted to the course Style, in green shades, with the previously selected frame, logo, navigation buttons and extra resources. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 49
Deleting LOs To Delete an Object from a Course, use the same procedure used for any other element. Your original Learning Object will not be deleted. 1) Right-click on the Learning Object. 2) Select Delete. 3) You can also use the Delete icon on the Navigation Menu. If you wish to delete an Object from the Library, the courses using the object will be tracked and you can choose what to do in each situation 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 50
Creating Exercises and Quizzes To create an Exercise or Quiz, use the same procedure used for adding New Scenes. 1) Right-click on the Level to which you want to add an Exercise or Quiz. 2) Select Add Exercise to create an exercise. 3) And select Add Quiz to create a Quiz. Exercises and Quizzes have immediate feedback and don t track scores. Their goal is to emphasize concepts presented in the course. A Question, however, tracks scores for Evaluations. IMPORTANT: This Guide shows one example of a True or False exercise without images. Within every available category of exercises, users can find different types of exercises with differentiating components. 4) Select the template that you want to use from the Library. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 51
Editing an Exercise Now, fill in the form: 1) Insert a Question. 2) Insert a short corresponding text as a Feedback for the Correct Answer. 3) Preview and Edit anytime. 4) Insert a short corresponding text as a Feedback for the Wrong Answer. 5) Insert a short text inviting the user for a second attempt. E.g. Not quite. Try again. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 52
6) The next step is to include the Alternatives for your question. 7) You can choose how many alternatives you want by changing the Repetition number and Updating the screen. Don t forget to save all data before clicking on Update! 8) After inserting the alternatives, mark the correct Answer for each one of them. 9) You can add a Background Sound for all your exercises and templates. 10) The same thing happens with the Forward button settings. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 53

Creating a Quiz The Quiz Pack consists of interactive activities based on very popular gaming models. There are 10 different samples, which can be added to your course, making them even more interactive. This Guide will show one example of the process of creating a Quiz. 1) First, you can take a look at the Quizzes by clicking on the Magnifying glass. You will see an example of each one with generic questions. 2) Then, after you decide which model you will add to your course, click on Select to add the Quiz to the Course Tree. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 55
Editing a Quiz 1) You have two tabs where you will have to edit and insert information. The first is the Questions tab. 2) The second tab is Options, where you will set some rules. 3) In Questions, you have to insert a Question. 4) Insert an Answer for the question. 5) Insert Feedback text. 6) To start registering questions, click on New. Creating an Evaluation If you wish to create an Evaluation for your course, there are some basic things you need to know: Evaluations need to be created after you have a Question Pool ready. You can create as many Evaluations as you wish to create in the course. You can create a course that is just an Evaluation. You just need to set a Question Pool and the Evaluation s setting. We strongly advise you create Evaluations outside Levels. This way, when you export your course you can have the Evaluation separately from the content (learn more about export settings in the Exporting section of this Guide). Exercises and Questions There are two types of learning activities in QuickLessons: the exercises and the questions. The Exercises are activities with immediate feedback, which the student will not receive any points. They are just a resource to emphasize the concepts presented during the course. The Questions, on the other hand, don t give immediate feedback but score points and can only be visualized inside an Evaluation. However you can insert them wherever you want in your course. Take a look at the examples below: This first example shows the Evaluation, Test your Knowledge (1) and Question Pool (2) created above a Level called Evaluation. As you can see, you can add both your evaluation and question pool at the end of your course. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 59
If you prefer, you can also use this second example. Place your Question Pool (1) at the end of each level and your Evaluation (2) at the end of the course. This works very well to ensure that there are questions for each Learning Objective you have set for a level. When you navigate through the course, you will notice that the Question Pool does not appear in the same order that is shown on the Tree. They can only be visualized inside an Evaluation. Adding a Question Pool To create a Question Pool, you must do the following: 1) Right-click on the Level where you want to add your Question Pool. 2) Click on the Add Question option on the menu. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 60
Select the type for the first question that you would like to add to your Question Pool. To Create other Questions and Edit them, repeat this procedure and continue the process using the same procedure for editing exercises. Remember, Questions do not have immediate feedback. After you have your Question Pool ready, your Tree will look somewhat like the example to the right. Now, all you have to do is to add an Evaluation to manage the questions from your Question Pool. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 61
Adding Evaluations The Evaluation is made from the Question Pools created throughout the course. Usually, the Evaluations are created at the end of the content to test how much the student learned about the content in question. But you can choose to insert an evaluation wherever you want in your course. To add an Evaluation to your course: 1) Right-click on the Level where you want to place your evaluation. 2) Select the Add Evaluation option. Try to create the Evaluation adding only questions from the Question Pool located above the evaluation level. Otherwise, you will be creating an Evaluation to test content that has not been shown to the student yet. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 62
When you see this screen: 3) Insert the Title of your Evaluation. 4) You can set how many Attempts the student will have to pass the exam. 5) You can block the Forward button. 6) And block the Backward button as well. 7) Save the information. Notice that, when you add an Evaluation: 8) Four new Scenes are added to your course automatically, with a suggestion for Opening, Instructions, End of Questions and Closure screens. 9) You will be able to edit them to add content for each screen or delete them. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 63
Setting Mandatory Questions By clicking on the Mandatory Questions tab (1), you will set which questions must appear on the Evaluation. You will see two columns and you have to transfer the mandatory questions to the right column. In this case, we selected Question 7 (2) and Question 10 (3). Click on the Arrows (4) to select your mandatory questions. After clicking on the Arrows: 5) Notice that your selected questions have been transferred to the right column. If you want to, you can do the reverse process and return the questions to the left column. 6) Notice that now you have 2 questions total in your evaluation. 7) To proceed, click on the Random Questions tab. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 64
In the Random Questions tab, you will see a table showing all the Levels in your course, all the Created questions for each level and the Available questions. You will have to select the number of questions that you wish to be drawn from your Question Pool to your Evaluation. If you established mandatory questions, the total number of selected questions will add up to the number of mandatory questions. In this case, there are 15 created questions. Two were chosen as Mandatory. Therefore, there are 13 questions available to select random questions from for your Evaluation. If you chose 3 questions from the available ones, the Evaluation will have 5 questions total, two mandatory and three random. Don t forget to Save your choices. After you are done creating your Question Pool, Evaluation and all settings, you will be able to take a look at it by: 8) Right-clicking on the evaluation s Name. 9) Selecting the Preview option on the menu. You will also be able to make changes at any time by choosing the Edit option on the same menu. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 65
Setting a Minimum Score The minimum score of approval is defined when the author is about to Export the course. Take a look at the Exporting section of this Guide. Even if the course has more than one level being evaluated, you will have to set one minimum grade for all. QuickLessons does not work with different weights for the questions or evaluations. If a course has more than one Evaluation, the system will calculate the average grade and will only give one grade to the LMS. If you wish to show your course offline, unfortunately, there is no way to track the Evaluation score for your student, unless the teacher is there to see the conclusion screen. If you wish to publish your course online (web version), you will be able to track your student s score by Cookies. However, if those cookies are deleted or the student accesses the course from a different computer, the tracking data will be lost. If you wish to use a publish course in a Learning Management System (LMS), there is no need to worry. If it is a SCORM compliant LMS, you will be able to track scores and progress through it. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 66
Exporting This is the final section of this User Guide and also the final step for generating a course. Now, you will learn how to Export a course within QuickLessons and all available options. Depending on the License, you may have limitations in terms of Exportation. If you have any questions about your License, please contact our Sales Team at sales@quicklessons.com. For trial users, your exported courses will come with a QuickLessons watermark. After purchasing one of our Licenses, we will be happy to remove the watermark from your courses. Exporting Courses To Export a course, do the following procedure: 1) Right-click on the Course s name. 2) After you see the menu, select the Export option. Quick Tip You can also use the Export link on the Start Menu. But be sure you have your Course s name selected. Creating a Course Package The execution mode defines the standard in which the course will be exported. The off-line mode should be used when the course s navigation will be held in the user s computer or through a link on a website, separately from a LMS. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 67
After clicking on Export, you will see some options to create your course s package. 1) Execution Mode - Indicates if the course will be exported to be executed within a LMS (SCORM and AICC), if it will be executed in a website (Web Version) or if it will be executed offline or recorded on a CD/DVD (Offline Version). The SCORM 1.2 and Web Versions make it possible to track the students progress throughout the course, through the LMS or Cookies (Web Version). To date, the Offline Version does not allow this tracking, although it can be published through a web server. 2) HTML Encode - Selecting Yes, the system will encode special characters in the name of the course and its levels. If your LMS does not accept special characters, please select Yes. That way, the special characters will appear normally. 3) Manifest Encoding - Indicates the encoding to export the imsmanifest.xml file. ANSI option does not support Arab and Asian characters languages. UNICODE option supports East-Asian and oriental characters. Please verify what option is compliant with your LMS. 4) Debug Selecting Yes for this option, the course will show debugging information including data about the course s behavior. The data is visualized through a tab, on the upper part of the course s frame. 5) Access mode - Indicates if the system will create one link with the course s name to access the whole course or if the system will create more than one link with the sub-levels names to access sub-levels independently. 6) You can choose if you want to open the course in another browser window or not. 7) Define the resolution with which you would like to view your course after exporting it. 8) After all your selections are made, click on Export. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 68
If your course has an Evaluation, now is the time for you to define a minimum score for approval. If your course does not have an evaluation, you will be taken straight to the Download page, where you will export the course package. If your course has an evaluation, now is the time for you to define a minimum score for approval. 9) Fill the field with the Minimum Score for approval of your Evaluation. 10) Click Export. To complete the export process: 11) Click on the Download link and wait for the pop up screen to open. 12) Click on Save to save the course package to your computer. 1111 Brickell Avenue 11th floor - Miami, Florida 33131 - United States - Phone +1 305 847 2159 69
