2 PLANNED PROGRAMME 30 th March, 2016 10:00-10:10 Welcome speech, opening ceremony 10:10-12:00 Plenary session (prominent Hungarian and international presenters of the given topics are being called upon at present) (1) Challenges of National Innovation Systems (2) Innovations Serving Sustainable Development (3) Innovation Trends in Food Economy (4) Globalisation, Innovation and International Competitiveness 12:00-13:30 Lunch 13:30-17:30 Sections 19:00 - Reception 31 st March, 2016 09:00-13:00 Sections 13:00 - Lunch The Objective of the Conference There is an exceptionally significant amount of financial resource for innovation available for the EU member countries in the 2014-2020 EU budget period. The optimal usage of this resource represents a unique opportunity for Eastern European member countries. It could serve as a basis for closing up to more developed EU members, at the same time, it provides an opportunity to be an equal competitor under equal competition conditions after 2020. At the beginning of this period, there is a chance to assess the tasks, the most important roles and responsibilities of innovation networks. This conference having a tradition of over 25 year offers a discussion, a useful talk dedicated to this assessment. Presenters, posters and enquirers of the R&D&I sector, economic and civil sectors alike are expected and warmly welcome. 3 Lectures and posters One participation fee entitles the participant for two presentations, or one presentation and one poster, or two posters at the most. The organisers shall have the right to provide opportunities only for presentations and posters strictly connected to the given topics in case of too many registrations. In case of over-registration, the Scientific Committee and the chairmen/women of the sections will make a proposal concerning the topics to be presented in the sections or in the poster section, and the possible rejections. In the poster section of the conference, uniform poster panels (2.2 m high and 1m wide) are provided. The presentations and the posters are to be proof-read by the Scientific Committee. Articles of at most 8 pages per topic are published in an electronic publication edited as a book, with ISBN number, meeting the content and formal requirements of a conference publication. With the recommendation of the Scientific Committee, outstanding presentations are invited for publication in periodicals Gazdálkodás, A Falu, Journal of Central European Green Innovation and Acta Carolus Robertus. The planned fees of services available for participants are approximately equal to the conference in 2014. The finalisation of the previously calculated costs takes place in the 2 nd Invitation by the end of September, 2015. The planned fees of the services available for participants: participation fee: Services: conference publication (CD), programme, summaries, coffee and refreshment, gift): 15,000.- HUF PhD students: 10,000.- HUF reception: 6,000.- HUF PhD-students: 4,.000.- HUF lunch: 2 500 HUF/person/day Registration in advance and the upload of the materials are via www.karolyrobert.hu/ntn2016 website. Form for demand of services will be sent in the frame of the second announcement.

4 IMPORTANT DEADLINES Deadline for preliminary registration and uploading the abstract (max. 1000-1500 characters) electronically in Hungarian and English: 30 th November, 2015 Response concerning the acceptance of presentations/posters: 15 th December, 2015 Final registrations to be sent back by: 12 th February, 2016 The Hungarian/German/English text of presentations/posters is to be submitted by: 12 th February, 2016 The detailed programme will have been sent to the participants by 10 th March, 2016. If the participation fee is not paid by 14 th March, 2016, the registration will be rejected, and presentation and the poster will not be presented either in the programme or in the publication. The fees for the services are to be paid by bank transfer to the bank accounts given in the 2 nd Invitation.
