Who is a Chartered Accountant? It all adds up Chartered Accountancy generally consists of a mix of theoretical study and practical training. Accounting, Auditing and Taxation are the core areas dealt with by Chartered Accountants. They are also capable of expert level services in the areas of General Management, Personnel Management, Financial Management, Operations Management and Human Resource Management. Training as a Chartered Accountant opens the door to a vast range of exciting career opportunities, in every sector of business and finance, both local and international. Chartered Accountants are leading business professionals who provide essential strategic guidance, expertise and consultation in business, public practices, government and education fields. They are also recognised for their technical competence, professional standards, and veracity. Chartered Accountancy training combines innovative education with mentored work experience to produce accountants who possess a greater ability to analyse and interpret business problems and develop dynamic solutions. The KYS Business School Chartered Accountancy pathway programme allows you to fast-track your studies to be a Chartered Accountant while saving time and money. Take your first step with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting. Our mission is to produce qualified Chartered Accountants to meet the growing needs of the nation. It is an accelerated degree pathway programme which offers you the opportunity to achieve an Associate Chartered Accountants (ACA) qualifications by the Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ). In this pathway, you would first enroll into a two-year programme consisting of an Advanced Foundation year and a Year 1 New Zealand university degree at KYSB campus, in Ayer Keroh, Melaka. This first two years programme in Malaysia will be an intensive programme Advanced Foundation + Year 1 in Malaysia Year 2 + + = + Year 3 in New Zealand as a preparation for the final two years of the Bechalor of Commerce (Accounting) degree at a leading New Zealand universities. Students with this degree will automatically receive a Provisional Membership of CAANZ that will enable graduates to attain full membership by completing four Technical Modules, one Capstone Module and three years of practical working experience in companies approved by CAANZ. KYSB will be providing the necessary support for past accounting degree in Malaysia especially in regard to the Capstone Module. MICPA is CAANZ training partner for the delivery of the Capstone Module locally. KYSB will also assist graduates to get placement in local companies for the practical experience.
