BOARD OF DIRECTORS Michael Flynn, Chair Vice President/CFO, Friendship Senior Options Michael has over 32 years experience with 25 years in the long-term care field. At Friendship Senior Options, he provides leadership and direction for all aspects of the financial operations for the parent and all affiliate organizations. He previously was appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Smith Senior Living in 2006 where he was responsible for the day-to-day leadership and strategic development of organization which serves two Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) campuses in the southwest sector of Chicago and suburban area. Michael s areas of expertise are finance and operations with regard to sound fiscal management, tax-exempt financing, and regulatory and corporate compliance. Prior to joining Smith Senior Living he served as vice president and Chief Financial Officer for Friendship Village of Schaumburg. He is a Retirement Housing Professional and a member of the Finance Committee for Symbria. Michael holds a degree in Accounting from DePaul University and an MBA for Keller Graduate School of Business and is a CPA.
