1 Randall W. Hanna Employment Experience Florida College System Chancellor of Florida College System. (2011 Present). Serves as Chancellor of Florida College System and Division of Florida Colleges. Provides leadership and direction for 28 state colleges, colleges and community colleges in Florida. The Florida College System serves approximately 850,000 students and is the primary point of access for the majority of Florida high school graduates attending a post-secondary institution. Twentythree of the institutions in the Florida College System offer bachelor degrees. Works directly with presidents and trustees, academic, business and student affairs officials and faculty and staff from all institutions to ensure academic and financial integrity. Works with Commissioner of Education, State Board of Education, legislators and Governor s office. Responsible for strategic planning and rule and policy development. Represents Florida College System before the Florida Legislature, executive branch and statewide business groups. Chancellor is directly responsible for working with the board of the Florida College System Foundation to raise funds for college students and operations. Responsible for leading efforts to develop performance funding formula for system. Represents the Florida College System on the Higher Education Coordinating Council and the Florida Prepaid Tuition Board. Together with the Chancellor of the State University System, responsible for the operation of the Florida Virtual Campus.
