SME SUPPORT AND FUNDING SME Support Organizations Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences The Small and Medium Enterprises Center aims to develop small and medium enterprises in the Arab world through training, guidance, networking and business enhancement. Business Development Centre The BDC was formed in 2005 to provide management training, functional support, and coalition building opportunities to encourage the growth of SMEs. Jordan Career Education Foundation The EFE Foundation runs tailor-made training programs that give unemployed young people the specific skills to acquire and retain a job. Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship The QRCE is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization. It was established in October 2004 with the mission to support economic growth by providing an array of services in entrepreneurship development and technology commercialization. Young Entrepreneurs Association YEA is a non-profit organization that aims to help small and medium sized Jordanian companies by educating and training entrepreneurs and facilitating the exchange of ideas. It also provides strategic support through an experienced network of advisors with a proven track record in supporting ICT start-ups. In addition, ipark has established partnerships to secure preferential rates from marketing, auditing, legal, and technical services. The Industrial Scientific Research Fund The purpose of the ISRF is to encourage Jordanian businesses and national companies to invest in Research Training & Development (RTD) by providing financial support and training activities relevant to business development. Zain Ibda3 Zain Jordan s Ibda3 is an incubator program for youth between 18 to 25 years old.
