Real-time integration (not interfaced) gives full credit and stock control, a must to the modern Timber and Builders Merchants.Microsoft based technology together with the powerful Progress database offering a dramatically reduced cost of ownership and it s easy to use. Order Processing A fully featured suite of functions for controlling and reporting on all aspects of Sales Order Processing Including Stock Control, Order processing, Invoice production and Management

Control. Wentworth Gold handles every stage of the sales order process from raising a quotation, issuing an order and ensuring stock availability through to despatching goods and creating invoices Documentation such as picking lists, delivery notes and invoices are produced automatically with full credit control for order authorization. Some key features or the Wentworth Gold system, Flexible Pricing And Discounting Structures Multiple Stages Of Order Progression Telesales With Diary System Comprehensive Stock Management Comprehensive Warehouse Location Definition/Automatic Putaway Radio Frequency Communications For Remote Terminals Multiple Units Of Measure (Up To 4 Levels) User Definable Stock References Full Audit/Traceability Of Stock Movements Flexible Picking Date Control - Best Before/Manufacturer/Sell-By Flexible Stock Status - Damages/Quarantine/Sampling Comprehensive Vehicle Scheduling Invoice, Pro-forma Invoice and Credit Note Production Bill Of Materials For Sub Assembly Requirements Automatic Production Of Purchase Orders Branch Control With EPOS Links Comprehensive Management Information Reporting EDI Interface Flexible Pricing And Discounting Structures Prices and Discounts can be maintained at multiple levels; from individual customers and product code to prices and discounts per group of customers and group of products. Each price and discount rule can be maintained for a range of dates. The discount rule can be an amount or percentage or either net or gross. Multiple Stages Of Order Progression The system allows for multiple stages of progressing orders, encompassing quotes, forward orders, order confirmations, order allocation, release to picking, despatch confirmation and proof of delivery. Additionally, non stock orders can be placed where stock holding is not a requirement. Comprehensive Stock Management When dealing with low stock situations the system allows flexible management of the shortfall, including the ability to substitute other stock, backorder the balance or hold the order until full stock is available. The allocation of stock can be performed at the time of the order placement or as a batch function by customer priority. Multiple Units Of Measure (up to 4 levels) All products are defined within profiles, this allows the user to determine the number of units of measure the goods are held at; i.e. one product can be held at pallets and cases whilst another may be pallet, cases, layers and inners. All enquiries and reports allow the user to view and print the quantities at each of the units of measures. The despatch functions can be tailored, by the user to requests stock at any, or all of the units of measure held against the product.

User Definable Stock References The system allows the user to define up to eight product groups which determine how the product is enquired on, reported on and used within the system. Additionally the user can define four stock reference types against the physical quantities of stock held in the warehouse; i.e. pallet number, batch number, lot number and serial number. The stock reference types are used for product selection via FIFO, Enquiry and Reporting and provide a 100% trace of the product in the warehouse. Date Control The system will keep strict control of stocks manufactured, best before and receipt dates, so that items of varying ages may be automatically picked for different clients - this includes the ability to set minimum life and same date picking rules. Full Audit/Traceability Of Stock Movements The user has full control of all movements of stock and can track the position of stock from Pre- Receipt, Stock Take, Put-Away, Transfers, Picking and Loading through to Proof of Delivery via the stock code or any of the stock references. Picking Lists & Picking Fulfilment Multiple options are available to select the production of picking lists, by order, load or bulk. Replenishment of pre-defined picking locations coupled with the fulfilment functions ensures that picking areas are continuously at their optimum levels. Selection of stock can be dependent on a host of options including full rotation, part pallets, priority areas and FIFO by date or batch. Receipt Of Goods The system allows multiple stages of receipt of goods. The stages allows the user to pre-advise the warehouse of the goods, days in advance, entering the expected goods directly from the delivery documentation, and process the entries to blind check comparisons and putaway confirmations. Each of the stages is optional and the receipt details can be built from the previous stages, depending on the profile of the client and company. Flexible Stock Status - Damages/Quarantine/Sampling The stock held on the system is stored under a user-defined status; i.e. damaged, quarantined, sampling, on hold. The status can be used to determine how the stock is seen and used in the warehouse, damaged stock will not be part of the free stock and stock with the status of quarantined will be stored for a defined number of days. Comprehensive Location Definition/Automatic Putaway Warehouse locations can be defined to suit requirements from a simple space on the floor to complicated racking. Multiple pallet size, racking types, priority areas, cube and weight restriction as well as links with each three dimensional neighbouring location allow the user to create a location plan to fill all combinations of put-away, storage and picking. Automatic put-away is achieved under the control of the user by setting options depending on the type of goods and/or client. The optimum storage areas, racks and bays are selected as soon as the goods are checked in and put-away sheets produced where required. Vehicle Scheduling A comprehensive series of selections for client orders/deliveries may be made for vehicle scheduling and loading. Choices by postcode, delivery area, client, weight and cube may be made, with the system displaying the weight and cube selected and the amount available remaining for the vehicle. Further options may be used to order the loads into the preferred delivery sequence, before production of vehicle loading reports and driver journey sheets.

Bill Of Materials for Sub Assembly Requirements The system allows for stocks of component parts to be maintained and used to report on bill of material requirements for both forward and current orders. This facility is also useful for maintaining up-to-date accurate cost prices for finished goods. Automatic Product of Purchase Orders The system allows for the automatic production of purchase orders based on current orders, stock levels, order trends and supplier re-order levels. Telesales with Diary System The system allows for customer profiles to be created; storing call contacts, call times and notes regarding the company (which can be amended on-line). The system will show previous orders as the basis for the new order, allowing amendments where required. Branch Control with EPOS Links The system operates many branches or sites, where each branch has their own stocking level and order operation. Additionally, the system can be integrated directly into electronic tills for direct sales updates. Stock Control Wentworth Gold is a flexible order processing and stock control business tool for any company providing goods to their customers and encompasses key stock control functionality. A number of specialist options for companies that require any or all of the following features.
