Receiving and delivery orders are automatically sent from your ERP system to Astro, where all the warehouse handling is planned and managed, based, among other things, on departure times that are decided by you. Astro reports all order fulfilment and changes in stock balance back to the ERP system in real time. PRODUCTION STORE GOODS RECEIVING WAREH NEAR BY BUF Goods receiving Incoming goods are immediately reported into Astro. The goods can be blocked or immediately made available for put-away, picking or shipping. Put-away When incoming goods have been cleared, Astro creates put-away assignments and suggests a suitable warehouse location. When the assignment is completed, it is registered and the stock balance is updated.

You can spot any deviations before it s too late, and redistribute the resources while there is still plenty of time. FIFO Picking The pickers get their assignments on mobile RF terminals, where all picking confirmation is done in real time. Replenishment assignments are created automatically. Out deliveries Astro tells you where to place the retrieved goods for loading and shipping. Astro can quickly consolidate outbound deliveries as it has the ability to assign several forklifts to one order. As a result outbound goods spend a minimum amount of time in the dispatch areas. Each pallet has its own ID, which makes it possible to trace every out delivery in detail.

8 The Information Flow There is a well-defined communication interface between your ERP system and Astro. As information is exchanged in real time, both systems have constant access to accurate and current data. A. When an order has been registered in the ERP system, the information is sent to Astro, which then handles the flow of information up until and including shipping.
