Keys to Success All plant and machinery is regularly maintained to a strict schedule, with detailed records taken in order to minimise drilling downtime. A strong emphasis is always placed on preventative maintenance. We believe in continued development & training of all staff and employees in OHS to achieve our objectives. We offer a wide range of professional drilling services including soil boring and soil sampling, to both private and government agencies. GeoDrill s founder has been providing geotechnical drilling services throughout QLD and NSW since 1996 and has over 32 years drilling experience. Occupational Health & Safety At GeoDrill we are committed to Occupational Health and Safety, so that we can provide every client, employee, contractor or visitor with a safe and healthy working environment. This is reflected in our Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) management system which is continually updated. We are always developing and improving all of our health and safety procedures within the company, to ensure a No Injury' outcome. We strive for zero lost time and zero accidents, which we achieve through our health & safety plan, safe working procedures, risk assessments, and method statements. Licensing & Membership GeoDrill is accredited with a QLD Government Class 1 Drilling License, NSW Class 2 Drilling License, ADITC Screens & Gravels Certification and generic construction industry cards. Our drillers are qualified with an ADITC Certificate 3 in drilling, a requirement recommended by the drill rig manufacturer. GeoDrill is a member of the Australian Drilling Industry Association (ADIA) with a senior staff member being on the ADIA QLD committee. GeoDrill Equipment GeoDrill prides itself on maintaining quality state-of-the-art equipment with multiple rigs to meet a variety of needs. DRILLING RIGS GeoDrill has two 4x4 truck mounted drill rigs and two track mounted drill rigs, all of which are Scouts. The truck rigs are mounted on 2009 4x4 Isuzu FTS 800 s. One tracked drill rig is mobilised on a 2011 MAN twin steer 8 wheeler complete with custom made tilt tray, while the other is mobilised on a 2008 Isuzu 1400 bogie drive truck. All of GeoDrill s rigs have been purpose built and are fully equipped for all facets of geotechnical and environmental drilling. The rigs have regular monthly maintenance inspections, which are recorded on a schedule and kept onboard the machines. BMA & MinE Spec Geotechnical RIGS GeoDrill s two tracked drilling rigs have both been built to meet BMA mine spec standards. The rigs come complete with personnel that have coal and metalliferous Generic Mine Inductions and full mine site medicals. We have extensive mine drilling experience in South East and Central Queensland. NEW DRILL RIG GeoDrill s latest drill rig (September 2011) has been custom built by and is BMA compliant.
