Therefore it is critical to select a plan that you are familiar with and can perform quality research about. 1. Review your business plan, analysing strengths and weaknesses (SWOT analysis) of the business unit that is the subject of the plan. Then analyse performance management methods and performance benchmarking in order to assess the current position. 2. Detail research employed as follows to assess the fit of the plan to its internal and external environment. (a) Consultations with key stakeholders to analyse and interpret the business vision, mission, values and objectives of the organisational unit. Amend your Business Plan so that it now aligns with the analysis discovered from Phase 1 above. Please ensure that the amended plan covers all aspects of the organisational unit and identifies performance indicators to monitor the effectiveness of the plan. The actual Business Plan must be submitted with your report as an appendix. 2. Detail your use of effective communication techniques to convey understanding and acceptance of the issues associated with your Business Plan. Your techniques need to encourage valid feedback as an appropriate means of implementing the improvements you advocate in item 1. above. The report must encompass your communication strategies for all key stakeholders of the organisation including:- (a) (b) Senior Management Customers / Receivers of our service Page 2 of 5

Your strategies should refer to Performance Indicators as the standard of acceptable performance in line with organisational objectives. 3. Recommendations should include refinements to: customers, market position, performance indicators, systems, methods, coaching, resources, reporting, etc..
