Account & Login Log In to Mobile Conference Connect (MCC) as a Meeting Leader Select the Leader login option if you have an Instant Meeting subscription with Verizon. This option allows you to create meetings, host and moderate calls, and join events that you are invited to as a participant. Once logged in, your credentials are saved for 30 days after which you will have to sign back in to the app. 1. Open the MCC App. 2. Select Leader from the login menu. Figure 1 Log In as Leader 1. Enter your Verizon conference Dial-in Number, Leader Passcode, and Participant Passcode. 2. Select Continue. 3. Validate your first name, last name, email address, and mobile number. 4. Select Continue. The LinkedIn page appears. 2

Log In to MCC as a Participant Select the Participant option if you want to join and participate in meetings hosted by Verizon and do not have your own Verizon Instant Meeting subscription. Once logged in, your credentials are saved for 365 days after which you will have to sign back into the App. 1. Open the MCC App. Figure 3 Log In as Participant 1. Select Participant in the login menu. 2. Enter your first name, last name, email address, and mobile number. 3. Select Continue. The LinkedIn page appears. 4

Log Out By default, your Leader log in and profile information will be saved for 30 days and your Participant log in and profile information will be saved for 365 days. If you prefer to log in to the app each time it is opened, navigate to the Settings menu in the top right corner of the app and select Log Out from the drop down list 5

Calendar The MCC App syncs to the native Apple ios calendar and imports meetings and events to the MCC calendar. The calendar updates automatically as new events are detected in the native ios calendar. MCC Calendar The calendar reflects all of the calendar events for the current date. Tap today s date to access a drop-down menu from which you can select another date. You can select any day seven days prior or seven days following the current date. Figure 5 MCC Calendar 6

Event Details and Joining Conferences Select an event from the calendar to view meeting details or to join the conference. While the MCC calendar reflects all meetings and events, only Verizon Instant Meetings can be joined from the App by selecting. The MCC dialer is pre-set to dial a local U.S. number. It can be changed to any other dial-in numbers available in the subscription. This may include a U.S. Toll Free number and/or international dial-in options. You can also opt to join the call by having the conferencing service dial your mobile device or other telephone number. Other features are also available from the Event Details screen: check in to your conference, allow a view of the in-call experience without connecting the phone line, send a running late notice to other conference participants using the MCC App, or send a not attending message. View Event to Join a Conference 1. Select the meeting you want to view from the MCC calendar. Figure 6 View Event/Join a Conference 2. Scroll up or down to view the meeting details. 3. Select to join a Verizon event from your mobile device. 7

Edit Dial-In Numbers Figure 7 Edit Dial-In Numbers 1. Tap Dial-In Access on the Event Details screen. The Dial-In Access screen appears. 2. Select an alternate number from the list. -OR- Select More Location Options to view a complete list of dial-in options. 3. Tap Edit on the Dial-In Access screen to edit a number. The Edit Dial-In Number screen appears. 4. Update the dial-in number as needed. 5. Tap Save. 8

Dialer Options The dialer menu allows you to choose other event options: Check In, Set Status, Call Options. Figure 8 Overflow Menu Check In - join the in-call experience within the App without dialing in to the conference from your mobile device. Once checked in, your name is visible in the in-call experience to other MCC participants. Participants who checked in appear in the list of participants on the call but with no green audio indicator. This feature is only enabled 10 minutes prior to the start of the event and is disabled after the meeting ends. Set Status (Running Late) - running late messages are visible to anyone who is viewing the incall experience for your conference. The message is visible for the duration you select: 5, 10 or 15 minutes. This feature is only enabled 10 minutes prior to the start of the event and is disabled after the meeting ends. Only one Running Late message can be sent per conference. 9

Figure 9 Running Late Not Attending - send a Not Attending message. Look for the Delete or Decline option (the delete button is located in the menu on some iphone devices). Call Options - this feature is only enabled 10 minutes prior to the start of the event and is disabled after the meeting ends. Select the country, enter the number that you want the conferencing service to dial, and select Call. Figure 10 Call Me 10

Monitor/Moderate Conferences Once you dialed in or checked in to a conference, several monitoring and management capabilities are available. If you opted to dial in to your conference from your mobile device, you may have to go back to the App to view the in-call experience. Near the top of the in-call view, a running timer on the left lets you know how long you have been connected to the conference. The timer on the right allows you to see how much schedule time remains. Participant Functions Access participant details from the in-call view. You can use this view to email the participant, assign a name to an unidentified caller, or save the caller to your phone s contact list. Figure 11 Participant Functions 1. Swipe from right to left on a user. 2. Tap. The View Profile screen appears. 3. Tap Edit to edit the name of the user. The Profile screen appears. 4. Select Identify User to assign a name to the user. 5. Enter the name. 6. Select Save to add the participant to your local address book. 7. Select Send Email to send the participant an email. 11

Leave the In-Call View Figure 12 Leave In-Call View 1. Select in the upper right corner of the in-call view. A pop-up appears. 2. Select Leave In-Call View. Note: You will need to manually disconnect your device from the audio portion of the conference. 12

Leader/Moderator Functions The Moderator control menu is available any time you have joined or checked in to an audio conference as a leader. The menu is located in the upper right corner of the in-call view. Figure 13 Moderator Control Menu The menu includes: Record - starts/stops an audio recording of the conference. Lock - locks/unlocks the audio conference to prevent or allow new participants from joining. Mute All - mutes all conference participants. Email All - emails all meeting participants. Enable Talking Indicator - provides a talking icon next to the person speaking. Add Participants - allows you to add a participant to your meeting invitation and send it to the user. 13

In-Call Moderator Controls Other moderator controls are available when joined or checked in to the in-call view. Figure 14 In-Call Moderator Controls In-call moderator controls include: Mute a Participant - swipe left on a participant and tap to mute an individual caller. Remove a Participant - swipe left and tap to remove the participant from the conference. End Call - tap End Meeting to disconnect all participants. 14

Settings The Settings menu is visible from the MCC Calendar view and is located in the upper right corner. The following settings are available: Create Meeting (Leader only) Profile LinkedIn Connect Dialing Location Notification & Alerts About Log Out Figure 15 Settings 15

Create Meeting Leaders can send a calendar invitation to a list of participants with the pertinent conference bridge information. 1. Select Create Meeting on the Settings menu. The Create Event screen appears. Figure 16 Create Event 2. Select the instant meeting subscription you want to use for the invitation. 3. Add participants to the invitation and complete the meeting information. Dial-in and passcode information is automatically populated in to the meeting description. Note: This option is only available to users who log in to the App as a leader. 16

Profile Figure 17 View Profile 1. Select Profile from the Settings menu to view your profile information; name, company, and title. 2. Tap in the top right corner to edit the profile fields. 17

LinkedIn Connect You can view your current connected status. If Not Connected then this setting allows you to connect to LinkedIn to share associated personal information such as your profile picture, name and company information. Enter your LinkedIn credentials to update. Figure 18 Connect to LinkedIn 18

Dialing Location The Dialing Location setting allows you to select preferred dial-in preferences. Options include country, city (when available), and the preferred access method of toll or toll-free. You can also enter a dialing prefix. These preferences are used when joining future audio conferences. If the selected country or access method is unavailable for a particular call, the conference will use the US Toll number. Figure 19 Dialing Location 19

Notifications & Alerts Notifications & Alerts provides meeting reminders prior to a call s start time. Notifications send the reminder when your phone is in a locked mode and Alerts provide a pop-up meeting reminder when using the MCC App. Figure 20 Notifications & Alerts 20

Log Out Log out of the App and remove your login and password information. Once logged out, you will need to reenter your Leader or Participant information before accessing the MCC App. When exiting the App without selecting the Log Out, your details will be saved for 30 days or 365 days based on whether you logged in as a Leader or Participant and there will be no need to reenter your credentials during this period.
