Financial provisions for re-imbursement: The standard meeting re-imbursement rules apply as defined in the Vademecum with an accommodation flat rate of EUR 100 taking into account local prices. It is recommended by the management committee that the flights /to the participant s country of residence to/ Lisbon are a maximum of EUR 450. Any return journeys that exceed this amount must be approved by the Grant Holder before booking. Criteria for re-imbursement: o All MC members have the right for re-imbursement (or their substitutes). o Other interested participants: The selection for re-imbursement will be done by the conference organisation committee leader Martha Betson in close cooperation with the local organisers and the core group. Any applications need to be sent to Martha Betson by email by the end of October (m.betson@surrey.ac.uk), the selection will be communicated by the 10th of November at the latest and invitations will be encoded in ecost. The following prioritisation criteria will be used and need to be covered in the email to Martha: Leaders and co-leaders of all working groups Members of working group 1 with active contribution to handbook development Members of working group 2: case study leaders / implementers Members of working 4 actively involved in dissemination Oral presentation Important role in workshop organisation Early career investigators Inclusiveness and gender balance Non-selected participants can attend using their own funds. 2

Dr Melhus' focus is on antibiotic and biocide resistance in humans, animals and the environment. She is member of the National Reference Group for Antibiotic Resistance (a subgroup to EUCAST) and is scientific advisor of the National Board of Health and Welfare in clinical bacteriology.
