An evacuation may take several of days. The group may need to re-route due to an incident, changing their schedule. Families are responsible for the costs of an evacuation, either for medical or behavioural causes. Fees may be between $1,500.00 and $2,500.00, including air and ground transportation, accommodations and meals. Expenses for injuries and illnesses may be covered, whereas expenses for behavioural incidents may not be covered. Check your insurance policy to understand your coverage.
