oing business with the United Nations offers great potential, not only worldwide, but also locally in Germany! In 2013, the UN organizations procured for a total of USD 16.083 billion, which represents an increase of 4.6% compared to 2012. This seminar, an incoming event at the UN Campus in Bonn, will focus on UN procurement in general and on the procurement of the following local organizations in particular: UNFCCC, UNV and 16 other UN organizations. The purpose of this seminar is to show German companies what and how the Bonn-based UN agencies procure in order to facilitate the procurement procedures for potential vendors and the UN procurement officers. Procurement staff of UNFCCC and UNV will hold presentations. As a special service, the procurement officers will be available for bilateral meetings during the event. Additionally, there will be presentations from German UN suppliers sharing best practices. A networking lunch will complete the seminar. Potential vendors to the United Nations in Bonn: IT products and services: hardware, software, development, training, security, maintainers, external workforces etc.. Media: printing, editing/writing, translation, graphic design and layout Event: event management, catering, tent rental, technical equipment, mobil IT and -Internet service, logistic, travel agencies, consulting etc.. UN organizations: Representatives from all UN organizations in Germany will take part of the seminar.
