How to start trading easy-forex MT4 on your iphone User Guide March 2012
Getting started trading with easy-forex MT4 on your iphone is simple and fast. Below we explain how to install our iphone app and we take you through the key trading functionality that you may find useful. Find and install the easy-forex MT4 iphone app Select the App Store icon on your iphone and then search for metatrader 4. The top result should be MetaTrader 4 by MetaQuotes Software Corp. Please select this option, then press FREE and INSTALL APP. Please allow a few moments for the application to download and install. The time this takes will depend on your internet connection speed. 2
Login to the easy-forex MT4 iphone app Please select the MetaTrader 4 icon to launch the application on your iphone. Choose Login with existing account and type easyforex in the search box. Select the Live or Demo option and complete your login details on the next screen. Finally, select Sign In and, if you have correctly entered your details, you will now see the Quotes section. 3
What is the Quotes section? The Quotes section of the easy-forex MT4 for iphone is the default page you will see once you have logged in to the app. Here you can see information and up-to-date prices for each of the forex pairs you can trade. You can choose between two viewing options, Advanced, which includes data about each pair s low and high, or Simple, with no low/high data. 4
When you select a particular currency pair, you will be presented with three choices: Trade, Chart and Details. Clicking on Details will provide the product s specifications, such as the spread. Selecting Trade will take you to the trade opening screen for this pair. Selecting Charts will open a chart showing the pair s recent performance. 5
To add a pair, please select the plus sign icon in the top right corner, select the category of the pair you are choosing and then choose the corresponding plus sign icon of the pair you would like to add. Finally, you then need to choose Done to have this pair added to your list. To remove a pair, please select the Edit icon,tap on the empty circle to the left of the pair you would like to remove and choose the trash can icon to delete the pair from your list. If you would like to remove multiple pairs at once, you need to select the empty circle next to each pair you would like to remove and then choose the trash can icon to delete all of your selected pairs at once. 6
Placing a trade To place a trade, please select the pair you would like to trade from the Quotes section or from the chart of the pair and select Trade. Please then enter the details of your trade, such as the volume and order type and then select Next. You will then be asked to choose whether you are buying or selling and after you make your selection you will be presented with a confirmation that your trade has been successful. 7
Modifying an order To modify an order, please go to Trades and click-and-hold on the trade you wish to modify. Select Modify and enter the desired change to your stop loss and/or take profit level. When you are happy with the changes you have made, simply select Done. A summary of your changes will be displayed and, to confirm these changes, you must choose Modify. You will then be presented with a confirmation of your changes. 8

Closing an order To close an order, please go to Trades and click-and-hold on the trade you wish to close. If you are sure you want to close your trade at the current price, simply select Close by Market and you will be presented with a confirmation that your trade has been closed. 10
Using charts To access the Charts section you need to choose the pair you want to analyse from the Quotes section. Select the pair you wish to monitor and then press Chart. You will be shown a chart for the selected pair and, by changing between the options on the top, you are able to change the length or period of time that is represented by each candle in the chart. When you press once on the chart two options are available: Trade and Indicators. When you select Trade this will take you to the screen whereby you can open a new trade for the pair you are assessing via the chart. When you choose Indicators, you will be taken to a series of indicators that you can add to your chart which may help you to make trading decisions. To add an indicator, simply select Indicators and select the plus sign icon. Select the indicator you wish to add on your chart, set the properties for the indicator, such as period and press Done. 11

History To see your trading history select the History option in the bottom menu of the app. You can view your trading history by day, week or month and receive a report for your chosen period. If you wish to specify your own history period to view, simply select Custom and enter your preferred the start and end dates. 13
Settings MetaTrader 4 on iphone allows you to change some of the settings on your app. Via the Accounts option you will see which accounts you have used to login into the application. The Charts option gives you the choioce of selecting whether you want volumes and/or trade levels to appear on your charts. 14
