The Wyndham Hotel Group (WHG) School of Hospitality Operations (SoHO) is a leading hospitality educator. We are dedicated to helping our family of brands create exceptional experiences for their guests and employees, while also helping to impact results for property owners and general managers. Our learning curriculum is strategically aligned with five hospitality key disciplines identified essential to the success of any property regardless of brand or size: Property Operations Revenue Generation Customer Experience Leadership and People Management Marketing and Sales Management

Learning Pathways Our Learning Pathways are designed to develop employees in key roles within your hotel. These Learning Pathways are roadmaps to developing a well-trained staff and are organized by hospitality key discipline. Classroom Training Regional Workshops: These day-long workshops are offered in select major cities focused on current hospitality best practices and trends that are relevant to you and your staff and delivered by our experienced and knowledgeable trainers. Training at Your Property: You can choose to have our industry certified trainers come to your property and train your staff. Our team will work with the owner or general manager (GM) to identify specific challenges or areas of opportunity and we ll create a customized training plan to meet your staff s needs. Then one of our trainers will visit your property to train your staff and help you transform your vision into reality. Online Training Webinars on Wednesdays: These webinars are delivered by our experienced trainers, as well as subject matter experts, to offer the latest trends and updates in the hospitality industry. These interactive and engaging webinars are a great opportunity to help develop your hotel staff into a high performing team. Our Webinars On Wednesdays are delivered live and playbacks of past topics are also available. Property Management Systems (PMS) Webinars: These live webinars are delivered by WynGuest and Opera subject matter experts and feature a new topic each month. In these interactive one-hour webinars you will learn how to get the most out of your PMS. Online Courses and Videos: Available 24/7, online courses and videos provide owners, managers and line-level staff ongoing training at times that are convenient for them, anywhere there is a computer and Internet connection. Employees can gain valuable on-the-job training on guest service, housekeeping, maintenance and more. Select courses are also available in Spanish. Count On Me! Service Culture Webinar: Count On Me! Is a culture-building training that reinforces Wyndham Worldwide s commitment to customer service. Built on a foundation of three building blocks and nine behaviors, this interactive webinar satisfies the training requirement for all Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Wingate by Wyndham, Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham and Tryp by Wyndham associates to be Count On Me! trained if completed within 90 days of hire. For additional information about Service Culture training for your specific Brand please contact your Director of Operations Support (DOS).

Online Training (continued) New Property Integration Webinars: Recommended for all new GMs and available to all staff members. This webinar series is designed to prepare GMs for their first DOS site visit. The webinars will guide you through the effective use of Wyndham key tools and resources. The series is comprised of five one-hour webinars each webinar touches on a tool or resources essential to the success of a WHG brand property. Quick Tutorials: Our suite of tutorials is designed to provide owners and managers with basic knowledge of WHG resources and tools and how to use them. General Manager Certification (GMC) Strategic Training for Exceptional Performance (STEP): This certification is designed specifically for Ramada Worldwide, Days Inn, Super 8, Baymont Inn & Suites, Microtel Inn & Suites, Howard Johnson, Travelodge and Knights Inn hotel brands. This certification program offers new and experienced general managers a comprehensive introduction to WHG brand operations support, processes and resources as well as basic hotel industry knowledge. This three-course certification is comprised of a Pre-Diagnostic Assessment, STEP and a Post-Diagnostic Assessment. STEP is delivered several times during the year in select major cities and in our Parsippany corporate headquarters. RightSTART Executive Leader Orientation: This certification is designed specifically for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham Grand Collection, Wyndham Garden, Wingate by Wyndham, Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham, Tryp by Wyndham, Planet Hollywood, Dream Hotels and Night hotel brands. This comprehensive introduction to Wyndham resources and operations is designed for GMs managers and Sales leaders who are new to the brand, who want to receive an update, or who would like to find ways to improve their property. RightSTART is delivered once per quarter in our Parsippany corporate headquarters. In accordance with WHG s training standards, all general managers are required to complete their brand specific certification within 90 days. SoHO Learning Zone SoHO Learning Zone is the platform for all franchisee training available through Wyndham Hotel Group.
