Program to Program Articulation Agreement between the University of Wisconsin -River Falls and Argosy University-Twin Cities (March, 05) This agreement involves the following degree programs: Argosy University-TC, AAS Degree (Associate of Applied Science Degree) -Veterinary Technology UW-River Falls Baccalaureate Degree (Bachel of Science Degree) -Animal Science, Veterinary Teclmology Emphasis The Animal Science program at University of Wisconsin-River Falls (UWRF) and the Veterinary Technology program at Argosy University-Twin Cities (A UTC) share a cotmnon goal of educating students f careers in related to wking with animals. The purpose of this articulation agreement is two-fold: ) To provide students who have graduated from Argosy University-Twin Cities (Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Veterinary Technology) with an opptunity to complete their Bachel of Science Degree (BS) in Animal Science with a Veterinary Teclmology emphasis at UW-River Falls; and ) To provide students at UW-River Falls in Animal Science with a Veterinary Technology emphasis to receive additional courses and training in Veterinary Technology at Argosy University-Twin Cities. Students from two possible backgrounds will likely be participating in this articulation. ) A student that attends Argosy University-Twin Cities, completes their Associate of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Teclmology and then transfers to UW-River Falls to complete their Bachel of Science Degree in Animal Science with a Veterinary Technology emphasis, ) A student that attends UW -River Fails wking on their Bachel of Science Degree in Animal Science with a Veterinary Technology emphasis, who completes courses in the Veterinary Technology program at Argosy University-Twin Cities that will transfer back to UWRF and count towards completing their BS degree at UWRF. Upon final completion of this articulated program a student will have earned)wo degrees: ) AAS- Associate of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology from AUTC, and ) BS- Bachel of Science Degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in Veterinary Technology from UWRF. Existing course equivalencies between AUTC and UWRF are listed on the attached sheets. The following course equivalency table provides detailed infmation f AUTC courses taken in the Veterinary Technology program and their UWRF substitution with transfer credits into the Animal Science degree with a Veterinary Teclmology emphasis. Courses and credits from AUTC must be a "C" better to receive transfer credit at UWRF the student will be required to re-take the equivalent courses at UWRF substitutions f different courses will be required. Courses and credits from UWRF must be a "C-" better to receive transfer credit at AUTC. Program to program transfer credits/courses are accepted only f the Animal Science degree with a Veterinary Technology emphasis at UW-River Falls. A change in maj degree program at UW-River Falls may invalidate some of these transfer credits.
