Build a Better Workplace: Employee Engagement Edition
Employee engagement, that willingness of each employee to strive to do their best work on a daily basis, has become the leading indicator of performance and competitiveness across all organizations. Employee engagement is how each individual employee connects (emotionally and intellectually) with your company and with your customers. An engaged employee is fully involved in and enthusiastic about their work. Engaged employees are committed, passionate and inspired and they inspire others by example. They care about the future of the company and are willing to invest the discretionary effort to see that the organization succeeds. They are willing to go above and beyond as a standard practice. Introducing: Build a Better Workplace: Employee Engagement Edition Brought to you by Ipsos Reid and Canadian Management Centre For the first time ever we will be comparing the thoughts and opinions of HR professionals in conjunction with the Canadian workforce to understand where the real differences may lie and where the key pain points in employee engagement really are.
