Instructions for Mac users Ad Hoc (Temporary) Accounts Instructions When a file is uploaded by DLG/PDV you will receive TWO notification emails from our SFTP server which will look something similar to below. And Once you received the mail please log onto the site below using the credential provided. It is advisable to use the copy and paste option when filling in the username and password.
Please UNTICK the use java enabled version as some browsers have difficulty associated with java security. Once logged in you will be presented with a screen like the one below You will have to click on the File Displayed and you will receive an option to save or open the file. Always save the file before attempting to open it. (DO NOT DOUBLE CLICK ON THE FILE) (Some file formats will not open when you double click and you will lose your file. If that s happens, please contact your sales executive to re output your data)
LeadsGen SFTP (Permanent) Accounts Permanent SFTP customers should receive their username and password separately before they start receiving their data. Once their data is uploaded by the dlg Production department they will receive an email with instructions to download the data. You should click on the link provided on the email to reach the dlg SFTP site. https://eft.dlg.co.uk It is advisable to copy and paste you username and password to avoid any mistakes. You might get the following security warning if you are logging in to our server first time.
Once you have logged in you will see the below window on your browser. Right hand window of the browser shows the SFTP folder with the file you need to download. The left pane is your local documents folder or desktop. To save the file to local disk, you have to drag the file from the right window pane to the left window. Keep a note of the folder you are copying into. Some of the accounts will not have JAVA enabled. In those accounts there will not be two split windows on your browser. You will have to click on the File Displayed and you will receive an option to save or open the file. Always save the file before attempting to open it. Uploading data into SFTP server. In order to upload data into our SFTP server you need to have an account setup on our server. This can be organized by your sales executive at dlg/pdv. Once you received you username and password please click on the link provided to reach our SFTP Server. https://eft.dlg.co.uk Copy and paste the username and password to log onto the SFTP server. Once you have logged in, you will be presented with the following screen To upload the data, you have to drag the file from left side window (your local computer) to the right side window (our server). If your account does not have the java enabled you will see a screen like the one below. Once inside click on the Upload link and select the file to upload.
Frequently Asked Questions. 1. Taking too long to log in.(more than 3 mins) Cause SFTP server some time down load Java components to your computer. If you do not have rights to install plugins or your computer is configured to refuse plugins, then it will fail to load. Resolution Login without java. Untick the box below password box when you login. 2. Keep asking for username and password. After three attempts unauthorized message displayed. Cause Wrong username or password. or Cookies are not enabled in your browser and SFTP server cannot establish a successful connection. Windows update also sometimes causes this issue. Resolution First make sure username and password are correct. (copy and paste if necessary) Try a different browser. Different browsers behave differently and might be able to connect successfully. Using SFTP clients will also resolve this issue (See useful Links). Type the password in manually. 3. Empty page after logging in. Cause Saved password or Java failure. Resolution Make sure you are not using a saved password for temporary accounts as they change with each down load. If you skipped java download or cannot handle java, please make sure you login without java (by unticking the box below password). 4. Unable to connect to SFTP server. Cause Access blocked after several unsuccessful login attempts or network security prevents access to ftp servers.
Resolution Contact dlg Helpdesk to verify that your public IP is not blocked. If you still cannot connect then contact your IT department to resolve the issue.
