The Encore Newsletter ENCORE NAMES GM OF RESORT SERVICES Newly appointed General Manager of Resort Services, Peter Gillette joined the Encore Club team on July 1 and brings an impressive track record of hospitality management experience. At Walt Disney World s Swan and Dolphin hotel he was responsible for hotel operations for 16 years and comes to Encore from Blue Start Resort and Golf where he was Director of Resort Operations. At the Encore Club Gillette will manage all food and beverage operations and management services. UPCOMING NEWS FALL ISSUE CONSTRUCTION UPDATE MIKE FRITZ PROJECT MANAGER With the first home closings slated for September/October the next milestone will be the completion of the amazing clubhouse. Encore s Construction Manager Mike Fritz has managed Encore Club s rise from the first bulldozer to its recent topping off ceremony of the three-story, 15,900-square-foot building! All steel work has been completed and the concrete decking is done. The framing of the main tower and two smaller towers has been finished and work progresses as planned on the second story. Fritz explained that this building is unique because of its functionality and design. The lobby will be very much like that of a top rated luxury hotel. But the Key West/Florida Coastal architecture and interior design add a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. We re creating an area where guests can decompress after their travels or a busy day, added Fritz. The large lobby features the check-in desk and sitting area on the right and a market for snacks, coffee and cookies on the opposite side. The lobby leads to the scenic outdoor patio as well as the kid s room and fitness center. Upstairs the full service restaurant with private dining and elegant bar area both overlook the outdoor patio and aqua park. There is also another convenient quick serve, grab-and-go service area. The third-story balconies and terraces offer additional opportunities to enjoy the stunning views of Encore Club at Reunion and its amenities.
